Reviews of Sergio Tacchini Uomo| Darvant ItalyShow all reviews | The herbal and hesperidic temperament is undeniable as usual for a Tacchini's concoction and indeed the lemony and orangy taste is lasting throughout the development but this fragrance is more, it starts hesperidic and aromatic with bergamot and hints of sage and verbena, follows floral and barely spicy and sets down in a base of moss, patchouli, warm and powdery woods, styrax and ambergris. The blend follows a bit a trend i don't rave for cause i tend to dislike the powdery and dissonant chords of citrus, warm woods, cedar, balsams and styrax because of the talky mainstream sort of milky bitter-sweet final effect. In this case anyway that chord misses the support of balsams and so holds on to be averagely sharp, slightly leathery, substantially watery and citrusy. Another dignified work by Sergio Tacchini. 29th October, 2011. (Last Edited: 22nd December, 2011.) |
