A classic of the old school. Smells like nothing else and I guarantee you will not find another person in any crowd wearing this. Good longevity as well.

A blast from the past! Lavender and aromatic, sweet and masculine, elegant yet fun. This one is funky refinement! An upbeat winner.

I remember how delighted I was to have found something "unique" in those days for men. I loved it then and I love it now. Could be it is a "blast from the past" however I discovered after finding it again after all the lost years, the compliments totally took me by surprise. I took great pleasure in telling people that I paid 8.00 for my first bottle and found it at a drugstore!

One of the finest male fragrances of all times unlike any modern brew. Elegant and long lasting, it is great to have this silver bottle back once again after having been discontinued for so long. Your own body chemistry will make a huge difference; it is remarkable on some men and just doesn't work for others.

On a scale of 5 - Fragrance=4, Longevity=4.
Yes it's dated, which is part of its nostalgic charm. According to a liner slip packed along with the bottle, here's what makes up the fragrance: TOP NOTES are basil, lavender, aromatic sage. MIDDLE NOTES are Egyptian jasmine, spicy carnation. BASE NOTES are sandalwood and vetiver. What I like about it is that after about 20 minutes it dries down into a quite long-lasting combination of vetiver, lavender and a clean-smelling soapiness. This fresh clean soapiness reminds me of Paco Rabanne but with a lavender twist instead of Paco's citrus.

I don't think I can say enough good things about this jewel. It's so rich and intoxicating. The lavender in the top note is so pronounced, I love it! What an incredibly well made scent. I have a hard time refraining from smelling the sprayer (it's that good). The silver coated bottle is very regal looking as well. It's great that the Baron is not widely available either. I'd like to keep it a secret! Just made my top 5 list. BIG thumbs up from me.

Very very dated, but fantastic in composition. A masterfully blended lavender based scent for men. The local store here that stocks it has a hard time keeping it around.

The Baron is a typical Evyan perfume. If you know White Shoulders, Great Lady, Golden Moment, etc. you will know what I am talking about. It has the fairly dominant orange-flower note but on this are piled woods and spices instead of the usual floral notes. But it is obvious that the same perfumer who created the womens' scents also did this one. I think it is a great fragrance but it is not for the young (they wouldn't like it anyway) and is very unusual
