Very close to L'Occitane The Vert au Jasmin, which is cheaper. It's a lovely tea scent if you must purchase something from L'Artisan, though.

Weak tea with lemon...that's it for me with this one. I don't dislike it; I don't like it. I guess I should say lukewarm weak tea with lemon. It is one of the only disappointments from this really good perfumery.

There seems to be a general concensus here, and I have to jump on the bandwagon and agree. The Pour un Ete shares a distinct similarity with Bulgari's Au The Vert, that is until the jasmine kicks in. At first, the jasmine note is subtle and grassy fresh, then gently builds, transforming into a very indolic nightblooming variety of the flower. I'd have to classify this one as a jasmine soliflore, with only droplets of green tea remaining in the end. Refreshing!

If there is such a thing as photorealism in fragrance, this one has it. The Pour un Ete smells exactly like the the best jasmine tea, perhaps just a touch more floral. After about twenty minutes, the tea fades and it becomes pure jasmine. Very pretty, but it does not compare witht the classics of the floral-tea genre, Bulgari The Vert and Tommy Girl, both of which cost less.

The pour un Ete starts is a crisp, cheerful lemon and green tea scent that transforms into a bright, transparent, lemony jasmine. Graceful, sweet natured, and perfectly poised, this scent is a happy child playing in the summer sun. Simple and lovely.

Bright, clear, clean, calming, unisex. Just wish it lasted longer!

I find this a very feminine fragrance, and quite beautiful. The jasmine is not too heady or cloying, the tea cuts the sweetness, and the other notes add complexity and depth, though overall I agree that compared with other L'Artisan concoctions this is on the simpler side. The more I wear this, the more I love the soft, comforting milieu it creates when I wear it. It's rather aromatherapeutic for me--I become calmer, and more content when I wear it. Rather like liquid valium! Yay!

If you are reading this right now, you never smelled thé pour un été and you wonder what it smell like is what you do.
turn of your computer,
go to some vietnamese restaurent near where you live
order a teapot hot jasmine tea to the lovely vietnamese girl that speks 4 words of english and there it is
as simple as that

I have to admit this jasmine tea fragrance may be quite simple, lacking depth, sillage and so on BUT
it just make you feel so damn good...

the kind construction, the overall effect and the way they develope me think of Passade d'Enfer although they oblviously don't smell alike
simple. rencomforting. calming. meditative. pretty

I would not buy it for myself though
my studet buget says 135 $ is to much for a pretty little jasimine smell
Although it would have made a perfect and safe mother's day present

Wonderful fragance, reminds me of Bvlgari au vert, for women, also of TDC Osmanthus.

Lovely and evocative jasmine tea fragrance with depth and complexity provided by the citrus and florals. It would seem to me more suitable to a warm but spring day than the height of summer because it combines an airy coolness with sweetness that might be too much for summer (I haven't tried it in very hot weather yet, so I could be wrong). Am I crazy or does this smell like the sister fragrance of Taylor's Eton College Collection?

At first I was underwhelmed by this. I wore it in the heat of summer and felt that it was a bit boring. On a clear autumn day I tried again. I went with a heavy application and found that it still whispered an aura rather than shouted a proclamation but this time it spoke with a beautiful voice.

Jasmine tea. Very subtle, it expresses a quiet confidence for me.

Jasmine tea, with a lemon slice and an extra dollop of sugar. I love the fragrance one day at a time. I am a lover of fresh citrus fragrances, and this one is a little too sweet for me. But irresistable, still. Which is why I love it for a day. In the summer that may be two days a week. I find it nothing like Bulgari's green tea, which I find to be less sweet, but also less complex. I love the short complexity that this fragrance tumbles through.

This is a light green tea scent, even lighter than Bvlgari’s Eau parfumée au thé vert. It is delicate and well-balanced and very refreshing. Thé Pour en Eté’s primary note is, of course, jasmine green tea, with citrus, florals, and mint to round out the list of notes. The tea note is subtle and has that wonderful jasmine lilt to it. The scent is not very complex, not very daring, but it is charming. I agree that it is more on the feminine side of the gender issue. I already have Eau parfumée au thé vert, which I believe is better because it is more suitable my gender. This one is very nice, but not for me.

A very floral tea scent. It's actually pretty strong, pretty thick, more floral than tea, at least after the topnotes I smell no tea anymore. As it dries on me the floral component gets mustier and darker, a little stanky, and just a touch soapy (but then jasmine always seems to do that on me). It could be worn in the summer but it is a bit heady. Most men would probably have a problem with the strong floral component.

Lovely and truly refreshing. This is sweet jasmine tea with a touch of lemon. It stays close to the skin so it's never overpowering and won't get too strong in hot weather. If you're prone to headaches from fragrances give this one a try. It actually helps my headaches to get better!

Quite similar to Bvlgari's Green Tea (a bit disappointingly so) but with the addition of jasmine and a hint of mint. Stays close to the skin but lasts quite well. Whereas The Vert is a bit fresher and a bit more complex, Ete takes the floral path...and I love it.

A comfortable, light summer-scent, which is a little too discret, for a perfume made by L'artisan to be.
If anyone have tried Biotherm's "Biosource cleansing gel", "The Pour Un Ete" smells exactly the same:p

A nice cup of iced, minty jasmine tea... The "for a summer" part hits it right on the mark. I find Thé Pour un Été's more natural, softer touch to be preferable to Bvlgari Extreme. Perhaps not the most risqué but it's very well done.
By the way I think this one is much more feminine than it is masculine, despite the unisex label.

Nice scent, but almost an identical clone of Bvlgari Extreme (Green). Lots of green tea and jasmine. It's not bad, but I expect a something a bit more risqué from this house. It does last better than Bvlgari Green though.
