Moschino Uomo opens with an almost effervescent spicy citrus that's not bad. The musk from the base is immediately apparent and remains throughout. I don't get alot of movement in this fragrance. The initial accord has amazing longevity as does the musk note, but now sans the "sparkle" aura it initially possessed.. A very subtle wood settles in after 15 minutes or so and that pretty much completes Moschino Uomo for me. A musk fragrance for the younger set that is actually pleasant in spite of being unremarkable. Uomo isn't a "standout", but that's okay. Solid, middle-of-the-road fragrances fill a necessary void in wardrobes and Uomo meets that criteria for me. 21 November 2009

Opens with orange zest, pleasant florals, and perhaps a little mint. Doesn’t project too much but lasts well. Wears for the most part as a soapy, light-spicy, citrus and musk fragrance that would be suitable in pleasant weather. Reminds me of Live Jazz (which in my opinion is slightly better). I couldn’t ever see myself looking at my collection of perfumes and reaching for Uomo if it was amongst them. I can however imagine it being an ok gift for a male under 30, if the shop was out of Live Jazz. It’s really not bad, certainly better than a lot of others in chemists or duty free shops. Really though it’s not great either, nice but boring. If you live somewhere where men don’t wear perfumes you may get the odd compliment, but as that isn’t the case for most it’s unlikely Uomo would ever turn a single head if worn. 05 October 2009

sparklin citrus with a herbal & woody accord with the heart of a unique, signature accord which makes this scent different fro mother citrus based scents. smells quite refreshing and has good lasting. great for (casual) daily wear. 18 August 2009

Simply brilliant. One for the youth; long lasting and not too expensive, certainly one of the best fragrances around in my opinion. 16 December 2008

Wonderful. Aromatic soapy citrus creation. Should be somewhat boring, but it isn`t. That lovely, synthetic floor waxy / soapy accord makes it very interesting and a pleasant wear especially during the spring / summer. Artemesia gives it a nice, green herbal tinge. Sunny and positive, quite sweet, masculine and unique. Good lasting power and a great, good smelling sillage. I believe this is a scent which attracts females very much, mainly beacause of the perfect balance between sweetness and masculine clean freshness. I love the black / white striped box, too. Recommended for sure. 14 November 2008

Ken_Russel said: "Rather a concept fragrance, an unusual experiment than the classic formal-wear cologne... A revolutionary scent that will render your everyday life(if you decide to wear it regularly) into anything else but daily grind, into a sweet-spicy adventure or joyride." On the other hand, in the perfume guide book, Tania Sanchez calls it a generic masculine fragrance. How can this be? I think there are two possibilities. Either this one is really dependent upon "skin type" or else the way this fragrance is perceived varies widely, from person to person, depending upon slight differences in how we interpret smell. For me, there is a dessert-like quality to U?M, perhaps like lemon meringue, but there is also a woody quality, herbs, etc. It's not especially sweet, but for those who are used to non-sweet fragrances, it might seem sweet. For me, it's not sweet, because I like sweet fragrances and this one does not come across to me as particularly sweet. I do like a fragrance that is a bit "challenging," but in a "swirling" way, meaning that I can't pin it down and it's enjoyable. U?M is more up front in how it challenges you, almost as if it's saying, "I'm going to throw all these different notes at you and you've got to figure out what to do with them." Since it's strong, I suggest one spray on your first sampling, not on your chest though, and don't blind buy a big bottle. My verdict is neutral, because this is interesting and not horrible (if you don't use too much), but it generates an experience that I don't find optimal, and since I have so many fragrances now that do, I don't think I'd use this more than once every couple of months (or more). 01 September 2008
