This is a really true rendition of vetiver in my opinion, which makes a change. The vetiver is surrounded by some subtle spices that never swamp the note. A joy to wear.

PS. JM have a new fragrance coming out in September called Anise and Vanilla and is really lovely.

This has a gorgeous neroli opening, with light spice and green notes quick to develop. Then there is a lovely, cushiony vetiver scent. I call this an ideal treatment of vetiver. It is not sharp or excessively earthy, nor is it heavy and soapy. It has a charming vitality and a comforting quality that I can’t explain, but I do enjoy! This is not a complex scent, but I love it.

One of my recent favorites from Jo Malone. I love vetiver scents, but I find that many of them either turn into men's cologne or don't really meld with my skin. This begins as a simple, energizing vetiver-citrus, but it gains some warmth and spice in the base as it dries down. The notes list nutmeg, but it reminds me of the cardamom and myrrh that warms up the base in Vintage Gardenia. In any case, the warm, softly spicy drydown really grounds this scent for me. Women who find other vetivers too brash should check this out.

This is absolutely my favorite vetiver. It has a bright attitude. This was demonstrated just the other day when I was in the winter blues and after spraying this my entire mood brightened as if I were experiencing a sunny day. Kudos Jo Malone!

Crisp, Clean, Totally masculine, it hits you like a freight train! Probably one of the best vetiver I have ever smelled. It does remind me of YSL Pour homme

Its very lemon/vetiver/lime like.

It layers EXCEPTIONALLY WELL With Jo malone Amber and Lavender. On her website she said its her favorite combination. DEFINITELY A BIG THUMBS UP!!

"Sir, that is a sparkly little number you're wearing today! What is it?", my valet enthusiastically asked me.
"My good man, that is Vetyver from Jo Malone, and I'm trying it for the first time. It is quite bubbly, isn't it?"

This scent is great straight out of the bottle, with sparkling citrus leading the way over the top of a very subtle vetiver. The Jo Malone website notes that vetiver “is blended with sweet orange, nutmeg, and tarragon to create this powerful, mysterious fragrance.” True enough, I can appreciate the spices, though they too are quite subtle. Unfortunately, as has been my experience with other Jo Malone scents, Vetyver quickly tapers off and after just 120 minutes I can barely appreciate it. However, all in all I like it quite a bit and, given the chance to reapply a couple of times each day when worn I think this could be a winner!

I think this is the most subtle vetiver fragrance I own. The lemon-y notes really keep the naturally earthy/woody/grassy qualities of vetiver from taking over the fragrance. It wasn't my favorite vetiver, but I have since grown to love its versatility.

Its very appealing. Unlike Guerlain's, its lighter, lemony, and pleasantly reminds me of Armani eau pour homme.
