I didn't know what to expect from Wings for Men. I bought it at Marshalls, and sprayed it on, and was instantly dissapointed. Not dissapointed because it smells bad I find it to smell pleasant enough. I am dissapointed because this is a Giorgio Beverly Hills, and I expect better from them.

Anyway the scent itself is not bad at all. It smells like a candied aquatic with some green crap thrown in(think Joop meets Hugo). It is very synthetic. I will have to wait till summer to test it real well, but it has excellent longevity, and probably great silliage too.

If this were a Hugo fragrance(Hugo Wings for Men) I would probably think it was one of thier better fragrances. In fact it kind of reminds me of Hugo, but I still like Wings better than Hugo. This is my first neutral rating, because I just can't give it a thumbs up at this time.

When I smelled Body Kouros, I thought I'd smelled the most vile men's fragrance ever created. That's because I hadn't smelled Wings For Men yet. This may very well be the most disgusting fragrance I have ever smelled, followed very closely by Parfums de Nicolai's Patchouli Homme.

I can honestly say that Wings hasn't one single redeeming quality. Screaming pink jelly beans mixed with Calone and Bounce Sheets is the accord you've got here. If that sounds bad, wait until you smell it. I've smelled paint thinners and farts that smell less offensive and penetrating than this. There is not a natural smelling ingredient anywhere to be found in this evil slop.

This is probably the most disgusting fragrance I have ever smelled.

Take it or leave it, Wings is my friend. A good friend. Since when does smelling like a fresh shower a bad thing? This is a VERY sweet scent, yet is is effectively rounded out by the base woodyness. Not rounded out as to mute the sweetness, but more or less, to capitalize on it. This scent FOR THE PRICE, is a very sweet, slightly tangy, well rounded fresh scent.

One of my all time favourites. I call it "Cool Water-on-steroids"...but in a good way!! I noticed my boss at work catching her breath and taking a deep breath in while standing next to me!Hope thats a good sign! Started using this about 10years ago and always come back to it.Love it...I actually had to work up the courage to ask a male flight attendant on a long haul flight what he was wearing the 1st time I smelt this...thats how amazing this fragrance is! An absolute classic.

Very synthetic and sweet, the lavender and citrus are downright violent at first and the heavy alcohol in the first 10 second whiff tells you this is cheap. But, Wings for Men dries down quickly to a nice, smooth, fresh and fruity fragrance that leaves a unique impression and does it on a tight budget. Wings certainly tips its cap to 80īs power frags as far as longevity and projection, I found this very potent and long-lasting, while hitting the early 90īs Cool Water wave with masterful packaging and a greenish blue hue that makes no secret of its intentions to cash in on the cool and blue early 90īs moda.
Much maligned by fragrance snobs and sophisticates alike, sure itīs done on the cheap and smells far more synthetic and plastic than Cool Water, sort of a precursor to the Curve line in my humble opinion in its reliance on unnatural scents. An easy target because it celebrates its synthetic soul, Wings For Men still manages to overcome its limitations because the scent Monsieur Delville hit on is appealing, soapy, fruity and woodsy without being complicated or just another clone of Cool Water. This is simply original, but not for everyone.

I love this fragrance. i remember walking into JC Penney and seeing the bottle and thinking it smelled kind of unusual..not your typical fresh scent. As time wore on i began to realize and experince the uniqueness of this fragrance and real came to appreciate it. So what if it can be found at Walgreens for cheap. Its clean , potent and long lasting. It reminds me of a good detergent or dryer sheet i used in my child hood. I reach for this almost weekly and never regret purchasing this gem. I love the bottle shape . Very well done.. love it for life. xoxo
