Basenotes says...
A very sexy fragrance from the very sexy lingerie company. This is Victoria's Secret's first male fragrance and it's based on all the things a woman finds sexy about a man. The advertising features supermodel Gisele and the fragrance was launched in time for holiday 2001.
Intimate Brands, the parent company of VS is also the company behind Bath & Body Works.

Maybe it's in my head, maybe not? But I feel sexy with it on, actually. Maybe it's because it's Victorias secret? I dunno. Very good smell, often complimented. Do I think it smells good? 5/5 Compliments from the ladies? 5/5 Overall 5/5 24 July 2009

Very Sexy is, at best, a generic scent fit for a middle schooler who needs a cologne that wont knock people out if he puts on too much. The only reason I haven't given it away is that my girl nearly salivates when I wear this stuff. (Then again, isn't the one you love always infatuated with your scent when you have on the one fragrance that you think is a waste of counter space and money?) In all honesty I'll keep paying more for my Chanel and Ralph Lauren scents before I'll buy another bottle of this stuff when it's gone. If she likes it on me, she can buy the next bottle ;) 07 June 2009

I'll echo some of the general thoughts on this one. It has a romantic and sexy appeal to it. It is somewhat complex, yet it isn't too strong. In this case, that is good and bad. It's not going to last too long but at least it won't offend anyone. Most colognes of this type tend to... Kind of reminds me of a warmer, less minty Polo sport. 05 June 2009

oooooh boy. To be completely honest, this is one of my favorites. About five years ago, I recieved the all-over shampoo in this scent as a present, and I liked that product--but I was intrigued by it's scent, and since a body wash isn't really gonna do anything on my skin, I had to find a bottle of the juice, and the rest is history. The initial blast may be a bit harsh to some--citrusy/metallic with "cologney"ness to it; in fact, this comes off to some people I know as a cheap, faux-machismo cologne, and I can understand why. Personally, I find the inital blast to be refreshing, somewhat enjoyable. Once this dries down though, it becomes a very smooth, citrusy/herbal/semi-musky scent on me, and the violet flower (which I agree with scensitivity on the presence of it in this scent about) gives it this nice richness to it on my skin, and the best part is that girls love it. I honestly think that this is fine for all seasons, all occasions. One main gipe I have is the bottle--they should have done something different with the lid. If you pull off the lid, you find the bottle to be a simple, black, rectangular-minimalist bottle, in the same lieu as the old Bath and Body Works fragrances (which is no surprise to me, as Victoria's Secret is owned by the same company that owns Bath and Body Works). However, that little sprayer needs a lid, and while I can't think of anything off the top of my head that works for it, the lid they gave it just looks weird. It's too out of proportion and just funny-looking. Calvin Klein's Contradiction did that so much better. Oh well, at least they made the bottle and packaging of the rest of the line black. I can't think of another color for this. This one will always be a favorite of mine, though. The only scent I can remotely think of that is similar is Aqua Quorum. Check this stuff out before it gets discontinued. 05 March 2009

This is a nice romantic fragrance for someone who is new to the fragrance scene. It has no real depth, lasting power, or sillage, but it is quite sexy, you'll just have to re-apply it a few times throughout the night to get the desired effect. 04 February 2009

i rated it a 3 because its staying power is very low, and the scent is never powerful. scent alone? 3-1/2. i hear the ladies love it, but i dont wear it enough to know. ill use this bottle, and barring any compliments from stunningly beautiful women, i wont buy another. 01 February 2009
