Unrefined, artificial soap water. No staying power whatsoever. No wonder it was discontinued. Thankfully the bottle I had was only a mini.

This is the first fragrance I've ever bought on my own five years ago (just after I turned 15) and was my most favourite too. It was very light, fresh, It smelled like a beautiful summer breeze, but now that's changed. Maybe I've matured a tiny bit since then and I enjoy some of the notes, but Crave doesn't affect me like it used to. It doesn't last that long as well.

Sporty orange green. This is nice fresh and youthful but doesn't last long. I wonder why it was discontinued? Has a bit of a fizziness to it. Definitely synthetic and seemingly mashed together.

Other than the fresh citrus opening, there is nothing in this concoction that bears serious consideration. This is truly a synthetic fragrance from start to finish, but other than the bright opening, the midnotes are mild and the base is nonexistent; thus its longevity is quite poor, less then 3 hours on my skin. I generally like synthetics as long as they are well-crafted and last the whole day. This one fails on both counts. The overall impression is one of a much weaker version of Echo, minus the suede note and with a lot of citrus at the top.

It is not that bad, just very average.

This is one of the rare fragrances of which I tossed out the spray testers I received after sampling. A sickly-sweet orange scent that is not unlike Clinique Happy, only it doesn't become less sweet as it dries on the skin. I imagine this would be for high school age only. Even though it's discontinued I see it at the local mall fragrance store ( i do think the bottle is neat).

I really love this one, I get lots of compliments about this scent when I wear it. It reminds me of my holiday in Spain.
It's still fully available here in the Netherlands by the way. I asked today at the perfumestore and bought a spare bottle to be sure anyway.

Nothing special here. Just a grassy chemical smell. I'd even tried to make myself wear and find merit in this but just couldn't. Better to avoid this one!

This one was once in my wish list but, fortunately, a friend of mine had a bottle and I could just loose all the passion for this fragrance... Thinking now, it was very artificial, simple and exclusively for summertime. It can still be found here in São Paulo, Brazil, even though it was discontinued.

Terrible - no complexity AND it smells bad. Truly one of the worst I have ever owned. The bottle is atrocious as well. Do not buy under any circumstance - if you are interested in this type of scent, there are surely fragrances that are similar but far superior. A disaster from CK for sure.

This is a very sporty scent, it is entirely artificial and definitely orange. A lot of people give this a hard time for these qualities and I understand the position; this fragrance is not a great one but it does well for a youth audience and I like to think both the plastic bottle was meant to be tossed around in a gym bag. Not sophisticated but not meant to be. It's not remarkable either and lacks any kind of complexity, which is fine for what it is. At the prices its going at now maybe be worth a look for those interested in an energetic sport fragrance.

Like most CK perfumes, it doesn't really last long. The bottle feels and is, extreemely cheap and completely plastic. It is only good for travelling. The fragrance itself is very synthetic, fresh and modern, but to me, not at all sexy. It's no surprise it has been discontinued.

It reminds me of frozen oranges, and with that bizarre bottle, it is certainly laughable to Calvin Klein's "sophisticated" image. It would still be good to pick one up, if it no longer exists....as a novelty item..

A fragrance for young men should have a synthetic undertone, like ozone, electrifying. I was looking for a light scent for daytime / summer / after sports. Since I had CK Obsession for nighttime I tried Crave and liked it a lot. Not instantly, but after a few days. I am twice the age of the target group.
I could be mistaking, but for me it's a follow up after 'Monsieur Lanvin' and 'Agua de Gio'.

Very synthetic, very boring, very "mod" (and I don't mean in a good way). Don't waste your hard-earned money.

How in the world a company that could have produced "Calvin" and "Obsession" could have dreamt up this schlock is more than I'll ever know.

had no idea it was targeted for the younger genreation, i'm in my 30s so no big deal, but this took a while to grown on me and i have to say it's okay, i like it and would wear it, love all the components that make up this scent, they mesh well together.

A mish-mash of fresh fruity notes which go nowhere. Extremely synthetic smelling. Although some people might say that its a decent fragrance for its target audience (males 16-25), it would be more advisable for the target audience to try other fresh offerings from houses like Bulgari, YSL, Creed or Hermes. CK disappoints again !

Ah, the complexities of the post-post modern age, when you read a John Donne sonnett one moment and watch Spongebob in the next, and your bathroom shelfspace is shared peacefully, like lion and sheep in paradise, by a bottle of Creed Orange spice and Calvin Klein's Crave.
There are plenty of reasons for hating this fragrance as a cheap, synthetic, imitative hodgepodge lacking both substance and style. But if it were only that, should it not have been a huge success in today's perfume market? So why not read this against the grain and take it as a courageous artistic statement of early 21st century popculture. Starting with the plastic bottle that won't stand up. And from there, on to a non-apologetic tutti-fruitness-greeness with unabashed synthetic undertones, developing into brash metrosexual sweetness (forget the icon on the bottle, this is by no means masculine). It does what it does in an overblown matter, evidently too much so even for the 'undiscerning consumer' of this type of scent. Too bad, every technoclub from Manchester to Agia Napa should be reeking of this stuff. It makes me feel 23 and I'm way beyond that age bracket. Thumbs up for this heroic failure.

Ok... I'm not sure what Mr. Klein was thinking when he made this ridiculous fragrance but I'd be embarrassed if I was him. For as popular as his name is, I know he could've done so much better with his imagination with both the scent and the bottle design. This stuff smells like floor cleaner, dishwashing liquid, well most household cleaners with oranges in it! Nothing original, very artificial and smell very cheap, cloying and awful. I think this is bottom-of-the-barrel CK kiddies stuff! This fragrance is bad… bad… bad… and too… too… too… orange. The worst of all CK scents! Thank it was discontinued and don't purchase the remaining bottles at stores.

A good opening: Crave is fresh and sweet and its opening notes don’t have the excess of synthetics. There are a couple of notes in top that are actually quite interesting. But then the movement to the mid notes is non-spectacular, as are the midnotes themselves: they are a glob of undifferentiated accords with a strong dose of synthetics. These mid notes are, unfortunately, typical of the Calvin Klein fragrances I’ve known all these years! The dry down is quite weak. I’ve seen light woodnotes done well in several scents but they’re not done well here. I give up! I’ll just have to face the reality that there will be no more “Obsessions” from this perfumer.

Teenage sexiness?Hm...the scent is extremely 2002, very teeny and extremely metrosexual. Immature, excessively avant-garde(but way to off-beat), and strangely it reminds me of cherries, in
various ways. Cherry syrup, cherry essence, cherry
candy- not even genuine cherry, but some cheap, watered-down synthetic substitute.Maybe its because of the tonka beans, Hugo by Hugo Boss already showed how this essence can be misused.
All the other notes, so various as they might seem, are impercetible.

I really do love classic (and elaborated) scents and everything indicated that I would hate this fragrance, but... I LIKE IT! Crave is a nice fresh scent, It's in the same line of Azzaro Chrome, Davidoff Echo and CK One. It means It's a casual, safe and relaxing fragrance, made to be worn in those sunny hot days. Although It's fresh, I really notice a sweet accord surrounding the entire scent, maybe It's the tonka or the nutmeg, but I know for sure that It keeps me smelling my wrists all the time!

People have to understand that there are scents out there like CK Crave that are targeted for a younger audience. For Males 16-25 years of age this will do the job. It has a very interesting scent that has a real tropical fruit feel to it. I dont care much for the spray mechanism though, hard to get a good stream sometimes.

A roommate of mine had some testers of Crave that he didn't want, so I gave it a whirl. I'll have to agree with some of the other posters that it's disgusting. It's sweet in a sickly way, with an odd combination of freshness that is saccharine and nauseating. I think it even hurts my nose. I expected better.

Calvin's worst. A complete failure. Indifferent, tasteless and very common. I couldn't beleive Calvin Klein would ever create a fragrance that is not original, but would just follow what other houses have been doing lately. Unlike all the other CK fragrances, that each one -whether I like it or not- I must admit that has its own personality and actually was leading the industry, this one is something like Clinique Happy, but much worse. OK, I understand that they aimed at young people (so, maybe from this point of view, Crave may be successfull, because no other fragrance from this brand was for them), but for me it is a huge disappointment. And I've also realised that it doesn't last.

Guys, there's nothing to crave about this scent. It's so light and airy, that is has no real distinct fragrance of its own. And even if it did, this cologne had absolutely no staying power. What is Calvin Klein thinking about these days...he's sure not thinking about creating quick classics as in past years. Save your money for something worthwhile!
