  |  Powdery citrus and weak in my opinion. Actually makes me queasy... so I'll call this Eau de Queasy. I don't appreciate this.28 July 2008 |
 |  A wonderful soft quinine, bitter but not overwhelmingly so. This has a much bigger, fatter structure than crown's offering with none of the harshness. There is some sweetness and powder here, almost creating an unexpected semi-oriental feeling to the dry down. A beautiful, pure bergamot note sings just below the main accord, like a faint pedal tone offsetting the rest of the fragrance, somehow separate but in symbyosis with it.Very fine stuff from one of the few houses to keep the genuine British tradition alive. 19 April 2008 |
 |  Starts with a soft, gentle citrus... a lovely scent. Develops into a kinder, gentler version of Arlington (a bit sharp and aromatic). There is the distinctly tonic note of quinine which lends an interesting aspect. Not long-lived.08 April 2008 |

| not to be confused the Crown Perfumery fragrance of the same name. This is wonderfully rendered from rosemary, lemon, bergamot and some powdery notes to give this a fantasticly more…dare I say…modern appeal than the Crown item. I disliked the Crown EdQ after a while finding it grating and harsh, but not Trumper’s version. Maybe a bit too powdery for some and maybe even a bit to floral-like at first, but I find it unusually pleasant. 05 November 2003 |
