Reviews of Royal ![]() carlos-uk United KingdomShow all reviews | I believe this fragrance to be discontinued now. It certainly can't be found on Trumper's website. This was my first and (to date) only Trumper fragrance. I have to say I found this heavy and thick on the point of being offensive and it would arrive in the room before I did with only the lightest application. It's a thumbs down from me I'm afraid. 4th December, 2007. |
| robyogi United StatesShow all reviews | Another great scent from Trumper's. Very classy, very masculine, and also unique. I am not even sure if I can detect particular notes. There are spices for sure, and something almost camphorous or menthol-like (though I don't think it's either of those). I don't really agree with the other reviewers that this is aptly named. Royalty is not what comes to mind, more like executives or upper-management...the corridors of power. Very distinctive and classy. One of Trumper's best scents. 7th April, 2006. |
![]() j_dubyah United StatesShow all reviews | Royal is truly named accurately. This fragrance is touted as being simply a blend of spice and spice, but the way it develops is sheer bliss for the heavy fragrance lover. It bears some faint similarity with Eucris in complexity and formality as well as the warmth of Curzon and Astor, but even so, Royal has a clear distinction of its own. Although launched in recent times, it has the classic tradition of Trumper wrapped up in a royal package. 5th November, 2003. |
| John.com United StatesShow all reviews | My runner-up for favorite Trumper. Top spot being held by the illustrious and magical Spanish Leather. Royal is masterful combo of light spice and wood notes, I seem to detect the presence of rose note as well. This lends it a small parallel with Hammam Buequet. Trumper's colognes all convey a right from the barber's "clean shaven" aura. Love it!! 2nd September, 2003. |
