I am with the group of reviewers that find this sexy. One must be patient with this frag. It opens very light citrus, and most noses would be instantly dissapointed. maybe the bottle makes you think you are about to experience magic or something. Then a fresh crispnes develops, much like new underwear or socks or shirt...definately industrial and not shower clean. This industrial freshness turns into what I will call Bulgari Black light. There is no mistaking the rubber/tar note plus the really subtle talc, more in this than in the Bulgari. But on my skin something strange happens...when I take a wiff of the tar like note, then exhale, the very next breath has a green pheromonic thing going on. kinda soapy, but VERY manly. I imgine others can smell this on you though you can haardly smell it. Its like the metalic part of the bottle is the tar note and the rhine stones ar ethe green pheromonic scent I describe.
Don't write this off, if you can find it buy it. It is very sexy. DO spray a lot though.

foetidus asked if this fragrance is supposed to be part of the older Versace Jeans line, the answer is nom it isnt. Versace Jeans Couture is the name of a line of Versace clothing that this fragrance was named after. The Jeans Couture line consists of moderately priced casual cloting for men & women (well, moderately priced for Versace clothing that is, which is still VERY expensive, $300+ for a pair of jeans) The clothing line consists of jeans, t-shirts, sweaters, sweatshirts, jackets, and other casual clothes. IMO the low-key, casual nature of the scent is meant to reflect the casual style of the clothing line.

Boring. Smells like something else that I can't remember what but that too wasn't good. The florals are weak and the musk is cloying. All spark and no fire. Don't like.

Without being too complicated this scent is sexy and fun. I get many compliments when I'm wearing it and I love it right out of the bottle. Too bad it is near impossible to find.

As most everyone said: Jeans Couture is a nice light scent with not very much outstanding about it. It is a pleasant citrus / floral / wood scent whose main notoriety is the gaudy, glitzy bottle—not at all like the bottles from the rest of the jeans line. I’m not even sure that Jeans Couture is supposed to be part of the older jeans line; it certainly doesn’t have the substance or character that the Green Jeans, Metal Jeans, or Black Jeans have. Is Versace (the company) saying that “couture” is like this bottle and fragrance: all flash and little substance? With its typical light citrus opening, light and sharp floral heart notes and very ordinary wood base (but nice), there is certainly nothing special about Jeans Couture. It does have a relative absence of synthetic notes, but it has incredibly short longevity. Yawn.
