Reviews of Dévotion for Men ![]() SirSlarty United StatesShow all reviews | Sweet, musky, vanilla, woody. Devotion is a plethora of typical notes found elsewhere but strangely it's incredibly smooth, wonderfully delicious and just a darned good sweet fragrance. Don't expect much else from this, however. Fairly linear but to make up for it it does last a long time at least for me. What else is good about it? It's cheap! 15th January, 2009. |
| Bigsly United StatesShow all reviews | Vanilla and herbs, somewhat like Safran Troublant, but this is sweeter and less herbal (and no burnt sort of thing going on). There are also woody notes here that work very well, but not much in the way of fruit (which is good, considering how many fruity/woody fragrances I've sampled lately). One thing that's very important to me in these kinds of fragrances is what I call "rough edges," and many expensive fragrances have them, but not Devotion. Is it the blending? It's strong at the beginning, to be sure, but then settles down in an hour or so, yet it's never "rough." Now that I've sampled a large number of fragrances, I realize how good this one is, especially at current prices. 20th September, 2008. |
| Renato AustraliaShow all reviews | Most gourmand scents are pretty loud (e.g. Lempicka and A*men) but Devotion is a good, sweet, long lasting and more subtle oriental gourmand. 23rd May, 2006. |
