This scent is dreadful and I would not recommend it. There is a reason it is only sold on discounted fragrance websites for around $20 (for 3.4 oz.). And to put the legendary Fracas name on makes it all the more appalling.

Licorice scented, soap -- CHEAP licorice-scented floral soap. Probably first discovered in a toxic waste site, no less.

Cheap, tacky bottle and horrible plastic lid, to boot.

So many people here simply have no clue - stick with Tommy and Calvin please. This stuff is from Heaven. It may be an edc, but it is extremely potent and smells very similar to VO by Jean Marc Sinan. This is a blast from the past - smells like an 80's powerhouse. I am in complete shock at how amazing this stuff is, I think Third Man by Caron is the best scent ever, and I compare anything to it. But this juice just might be as good. The bottle is cheap, and, as mentioned, it is an edc, however do yourself a favor and buy this stuff now. It is so manly and sexy - VO is almost impossible to find, but this stuff is absolutely amazing. If you hate Tommy and Calvin and all the other over exposed garbage pumped down out throat - go with this stuff. It is simply incredible.

Very strange fragrance. I would say that it has much more in common with Drakkar Noir than it does Habit Rouge. As previously stated, it's a spicy floral mix that starts off quite soapy. Initially, I was quite intrigued by it.. but as the scent developed on my hand, I got more and more tired of it. The florals are too pungent and the overall quality of the fragrance doesn't strike me as very good. It smells a lot like a Drakkar knok-off I owned when I was younger. It is quite a tangy fragrance, but certainly not one I would reach for very often. Much better floral citrus options available. Even for the low price, I wouldn't bother.

Lately, this has been my default fragrance; the stuff I wear when I can't decide on anything else. It's just awfully good, unique and almost nobody else wears it (nor Bandit for men, also by R. Piquet). I disagree with those who consider it soapy; this is very clean, fresh, a a bit mysterious because it draws one in repeatedly. There is just nothing like it: unique and outstanding.

"Sir, what's happened to your Habit Rouge? It smells different."
"Yes, indeed, my friend, for I am not wearing Habit Rouge, but instead I am trying Fracas for Men. For years women have been up in arms over their Fracas, and I decided to see what all the fuss was about with their men's scent."

Fracas for Men is an eau de cologne, and a strong one at that! The notes include mandarin, lavender, sandalwood, vetiver, orange flower, basil, and musk. It is a very difficult fragrance to characterize. The best analogy I can use is that it smells "sleek and silky." It is very aromatic after first applied, but tones down quickly and settles into to a long duration for an EDC. I wondered if there might be some tuberose in it, but apparently not. The lavender and sandalwood are perhaps most evident, with the other notes subordinate. It almost comes off sort of medicinal and/or soapy; this is what I infer when I use "sleek/silky" to characterize it. This is not like anything I have experienced before, and Habit Rouge is probably the best, though mediocre, approximation.

Fracas is a light floral. Very simple and pleasant. It lasts all day. Piguet also has introduced "Bandit" for men as well as women. I really like it. It is first very full bodied that will soon mellow. It is a floral and musk. Very fragrant and lasts all day.
