I wear this on a day off at home but only occasionally to office. A great scent for relaxing and chilling out at home. Fresh and clean but not typical out of shower smelling. Distinctive but pleasant altogether, my husband really likes it on me. The top note strikes me as a little alcoholic but then fades off (rather quickly) into white tea, which remains until the end of the day. It remains in my hair too and when I get change into fresh clothing, the scent still remains on my dress/shirt. 18 June 2009

While spring cleaning I found an unused sample of Eau The' Blanc in my drawer. I love Bulgari fragrances and excitedly sampled this one. It is very plain, in fact, generic "white tea". It also smells like the signature 'white tea' fragrance of the Westin hotels. The notes are subtle and wear close to the body. This composition emits an aire of quality and class. It is completely suitable for a man or woman, and is one of those "all purpose" frags. Seriously, you could wear it ANYWHERE you go and be perfectly in place! A staple in any fragrance wardrobe. 17 June 2009

Fresh, delightful, and sensual. I find this the most subtle but alluring frag and consider this not unisex, but clearly a female fragrance. The white tea and white pepper settle down with the light musk to create a great scent for women. This is quite intimate and one I love. Again, hats off to Bulgari. 01 March 2009

Very sensual, and in a sense indeed unisex. Whenever I smell this scent, I see it being sprayed in a woman's decolleté. It's soft, and it engulfes the wearer in a soft, silky, smooth cloud of white tea and soft musk. It's my airplane scent, won't annoy anyone with this frag. 14 February 2009

Hmm I'm going to give this a thumbs up despite some misgivings about how I think they may have overdone the floral and sweet aspect of this scent, at the expense of the tea note. The tea note is quite beautiful, and is different from the tea notes in other Bulgari scents to me at least makes it unique. Its good for office wear, but I would not recommend it if you are in the sun too long as the floral can give you a headache. 11 February 2009

On first spritz, I get a bright, sharp note that is a bit unpleasant and astringent. It dries down amazingly quickly on the skin however, and on me it starts to behave within maybe five to ten minutes. At this point it becomes an amazing concoction of powdery white warmth. There is tea, and a very clean scent that reminds me of white cotton but isn't insipid the way many of the 'shower' fragrances tend to be. It also has a depth to it that reminds me of the pages inside of old well-cared-for books. Not mildewed ones, pristine ones that have been stored in wood cabinets behind glass. Very quiet but not boring. And just to put it into perspective, I am not a "quiet" scent kind of gal. I am coveting Dzing! and 10 Corso Como at present, adore Baume de Doges, and would about bathe in Shalimar. But this scent has it going on for a day fragrance. As for wear: This is insane! I have been wearing this scent for five hours now, and about an hour ago I did some housework including dishes (hands and wrists submerged in soapy water, and the soap had some sort of lavender aromatherapy note ick!) and cooking (working with strong food scents including garlic and onion), and then I washed my hands after, and I can STILL smell the white tea. The silage isn't overwhelming, you won't knock anyone out in an elevator with this one so it would be a good addition to your daytime fragrance wardrobe. Highly recommended. 15 December 2008

I love Eau Parfumée au Thé Blanc..... It works well on my skin and lasts all day...smells very sexy on me and I find that I am sniffing myself all day too. I usually wear heavy perfumes - Lou Lou - Flower etc etc, so I wear this when I feel like a break from the usual, It has a nice musky undertone that I find very alluring. 04 October 2008

Reminds of CK One, but more refined. Comfortable to wear, especially if you need a break from powerhouses and have been OD-ing on your gourmands. The bottle also is stylish and the spray mechanism delivers a decent dose. Longevity is underwhelming, but I've had a compliment or two wearing this white tea, so I suspect sillage is OK. 09 November 2007

This is almost a straight white tea and musk fragrance. Occasionally, one will detect fleeting hints of pepper, yet the overall experience is a simple white tea/white musk combo. I find the longevity to actually be decent on this one; more average in duration than is anticipated. With such a simple and linear fragrance one would expect to be underwhelmed, yet the simplicity in this fresh fragrance manages to work, giving off a clean, carefree scent that's surprising with it's versatility. 08 April 2007

Just wished the Artemisia top lasted longer and longer and looooooonger! The artemisia top along with white pepper presented a dry tea accord that feels "white", which reminds me of chinese silver needles I brew up from time to time. On my skin the artemisia top fades in seconds, and either turns to be a strong peppery musk or a sweet powdery almost animalic musk. I much perfer the former, but would have just wished the artemisia was stronger and lasted. This is a bottle worthy one if it matches your chemistry, and I look forward to the possible Extreme version. 27 January 2007

I don't like powder, white flowers, or fruity sweetness. I LOVE Bulgari's tea notes, and White Tea is my favorite scent, period. It starts fresh and peppery, but stays warm and sensual the whole way through. Intimate and lovely. 05 December 2006

Light, refreshing and subtly sexy. This one is great for summer and for younger persons. Moreover it is more indicated for males than for females, because on them it does not take any colour of mystery or sensuality, in one word it is ordinary;but on us, men, it is great.:) 12 November 2006

Au Thé Blanc is a delightful addition to the Bulgari tea line. It is slightly more peppery and zesty than Au Thé Vert, but wears well in both summer and winter (and probably just as well in spring and autumn...) To my nose, it is remarkably similar to Omnia Crystalline, though Crystalline has much better staying power. 31 August 2006

My most recent fragrance purchase, and I must say, my favorite! So light and refreshing, and the dry down is absolutely yummy! 18 August 2006

Au The Blanc is my favourite of all the Bvlgari teas – a white musk and orris scent and with the typical acrid aftertaste of white tea, a hint of white pepper and amberette seed. The powdery and musky notes are lovely and refreshing and it’s perfect for warm weather without being a citrusy cliché. 25 July 2006

Light summer scent...I get headaches from almost all fragrances except this one. Only drawback, does not last long...need to reapply often. 19 April 2006

I'm usually not a big musk fan, but i like this. The tea balances with the musk and pepper and makes it totally unique. Awesome alternative to aquatic summer frags. It just plain smells good. 16 March 2006

Although this might be classified as a refreshing scent, I (a female) prefer to wear Au Thé Blanc in cold weather. The crisp citrus and white tea notes and frostly bottle seem to match up with the cold, white days of winter and the solitude that time of year brings on. I'll save my florals for months when flowers bloom and wear this after a steamy January shower with sandalwood soap. I wear a number of other fragrances, but often close my eyes and sniff the Bulgari flacon like smelling salts. Its simplicity seems to clear the senses and make me feel calm. I don't share this scent with my husband because it's not how I like him to smell. It's for me alone and adds diversity to my fragrance wardrobe (which could also be called a mood wardrobe). 10 August 2005

Smooth, refreshing, sensual... ideal for summer, relaxing-mood days. Some fragances like Aqua de Giò takes the fame, but this one can compite with them with his exceeded quality and elegant manners 04 August 2005

A grown-up version of my jr. high school favorite, white musk by Body Shop. But Bulgari does it better. I love it, but I tend to like more masculine scents. Not sure how most men would react to this on a woman. 06 June 2005

i love it! its very clean and fresh-smelling although not very long lasting unless applied liberally..light but elegant smell..this is my first Bulgari perfume..first smelled someone who just passed infront of me at the mall and i kept wondering what perfume she was using so i searched for it until i discovered its bulgari au the blanc, so when i knew that it was it, i got myself a bottle of it and now im enjoying the clean, innocent scent..amde to fit my lifestyle..easygoing and refreshing. 03 December 2004

Were this made as an eau de toilette or even better as an eau the parfum, it would probably be my signature sxcent/ I find it to be a real winner (and I am fan of all Bvlgari scents) 04 March 2004

Why is this familiar someone asks?... It is a cross between Ckone and Ckbe in my olfactory opinion. Very smooth and cottony clean. Musky florals and Tea. I like this very much! Very easy to wear and the body products are fantastic! Many compliments from the ladies!!..and Men:) I'm sure the 'extreme' version will follow as most Bvlgari products do! It is however, very long lasting! 21 June 2003

The first 20 minutes of this scent are kind of odd. It comes off as somewhat synthetic and something smells like they should have named it l'eau de la vieille dame. After the "old lady" top notes, it becomes a beautiful complex scent with the tea and musk nicely combining to make a very elegant and non imposing summer scent. Give it a few minutes, it's worth it. Excellent scent and is destined to become a summer staple for me. The shower gel is top notch as well. 16 June 2003

Picked up a tester bottle of this fab scent...and just in time as it'll be an easy fragrance for summer. It's reminiscent of something I've smelled before but can't put my finger on what it is... Despite this characteristic of the "familiar," the scent is finely composed with the white tea beautifully offset in light florals and musk. 25 April 2003

A refreshingly light, though longlasting fragrance, pretty different from anything else. A definite tea note stands out, but the white musk and citrus keep it from smelling like all the others. A unisex scent, it has a similar bottle and packaging as the green tea fragrance. it may be slightly feminine for some guys, but sure to be a summer staple for most! Give it a shot - I get lots of compliments! 05 March 2003
