Yes, nothing sweet, nothing floral. My skin usually favors powdery, a bit sweet scents, so I would never think myself as liking such a dry scent this much. Eau de lalique is amazing. Very affordable, I should add. I bought it online just because it was so cheap. When I received it, my first impression was "hmm, not bad". Then, I gave it to my mother. Everytime she put it on, I liked it again and again. EDL is good.

This one’s a winner. I don’t know why it isn’t more popular than it is, but it is a high quality EDT eau that is catching, creative, modern, and enjoyably wearable. It reminds me a bit of Eau de Cartier except that its notes are more lively, it lasts longer, and it costs half as much. It is so not generic, and it doesn’t have that strong sweetness that is so de rigueur in many modern, light fragrances. I don’t even find it very citrusy – it seems more spicy / green to me – all very discreetly and sophisticatedly presented. The top notes combine spice, citrus, herb, and floral which results in a light freshness that actually has some interest and depth without being very citrusy. I don’t actually catch much of the middle accord: It disappears, but the fragrance picks up again with its woody base with a touch of musk – a soft, clean skin scent that lasts longer than one would think for this type of fragrance. This is a unisex fragrance: Fresh, subtle, comfortable, unique – this is the Eau I’ve been looking for all these years.

Another great value from Lalique. This one's by JC Ellena and it definitely belongs in the family with Jardin Sur le Nil and Kelly Caleche. Bracing citrus with enough interesting herbs, spices, and woods to be intriguing. A charming unisex cologne.

For quite some time I have been searching, on- and off-line, a dry citrucy fragrance that wouldn’t be sweet or floral. Then this last May while at the duty free shop in Athens’ new airport, I just couldn’t believe the sales assistant who actually thought that there was a fragrance which could fit in my description. She pointed to a bottle of Eau de Lalique. I didn’t care if the bottle or the colour coordination of the packaging didn’t look masculine; by then I didn’t care if the fragrance, that I might have been interested in, would be marketed as masculine or feminine. I tested the fragrance on my skin and on paper and left to catch my plane. On the return flight, and after I had realised that indeed Eau de Lalique was pretty close to what I was looking for, I bought a bottle. Now that the bottle is finished ( I still save a few drops) I look forward buying my next one. Eau de Lalique is dry, citrucy, and develops damp woody notes after some hours. And this last feature is a pleasant surprise as it does linger around for a few hours! For an eau it is super. It is good for summer but I rather prefer it in the dry Finnish cold weather. Here the acidity seems to stay just a bit longer. And the bottle is beautiful anyway. I appreciate Eau de Lalique very much while I am still looking for that perfect dry citrus fragrance. If you too think that warm and deep fragrances are great but still prefer to wear lighter and citrucy ones, as more invigorating and youthful, then you should definitely try this one.

I love this fragrance, Eau de Lalique. If this is the fragrance in the large square glass bottle with beaded edges, I LOVE this fragrance. I loved this fragrance from the moment I smelled it and told myself I will wear it regardless of it being for women. I found the fragrance to be very fresh and invigorating. I ALWAYS get compliments when I wear this one. I would say its a little similar with Eau de Cartier, but I think Eau de Lalique lasts longers and has a "fresher" quality to it. A perfect scent for "soccer moms" because it smells so summer-like. This comes in a 6.7-ounce size, which is a deal because I bought it for about $34 USD. I stocked up on it and bought 6 bottles to give away as gifts. As all my friends know, if you come to my house, you can expect to leave with a bottle of cologne. I love giving fragrance as gifts to my good friends. Anyway, this one is definitely a WINNER!!

I tested this and was very surprised as i never thought i would like it. I am liking lalique each time more and more. It's a green (light)floral-woddsy, musky scent. Will buy it next week or so. It's crystalline, luminous and very green. It's dark enough for a man as it sorta reminds me of walking on wet muds and seeing a nearby medow on a weekend trip. It has a sandy quality to it too. Very good lasting power as well, amazing for summer. A pleasure to wear.

Another surprise form Lalique - a unisex fresh aquatic, unlike any other. Watery and cool in the opening with enough depth in the base to produce some great sillage and lasting power. Hard to compare this to others but similar in style to Eau de Givenchy, again, but warmer with woods and white musk. Definitely a staple for warmer weather and works well in cooler weather as well.
