The bottle and spray nozzle are not particularly well constructed (I had one bottle where the nozzle broke off!) - but that aside, the comparisons of Everlast 1910 being a 'cheap' version of YSL's Opium are something I would agree with, which is not a bad thing. This lacks the ginger punch which Opium opens with, and has none of Opiums darker notes, but it covers your nostrils in a sweet-ish oriental spice blend, and is light on your skin, fresh, almost (sporty?) - and easy to wear. The last bottle I bought was £5 for 100ml (!!!!) - so this gets an A+ for value, and as a bargain gym bag / sweet cum fresh oriental scent - it's definitely recommended!

Opens with stinging notes of wood and leather, distinctly pine cleanser! This dries down to an amber and lilac middle that retains that cheap cleanser fragrance within it's muddled cacophany. Entire thing breaks down quickly and unceremoniously making for a mercifully short longevity. Wretched foulness in a cheap and unsophisticated EDT.

Good for someone who doesn't know any better or on a budget. Smells like Opium PH. Average longevity.

This is good, really good, far superior to scents many times its price. I tried it based on reviews herein, with a large dollop of scepticism, but the positive reviews are fully justified.

To me it's quite an old school type scent, very citric opening, a little sweet, evolving to a musky leathery base. Very well blended, seamlessly moving from top to base, each stage enjoyable.

The old saying "Never judge a book by its cover" never rining truer, as the exterior belies the quality within. I'm now on my second bottle, having spent less sthan €20 on both. Perhap not the most original, but in terms of VFM, this leads the way and I'll always have a bottle in my wardrobe.

Here's the note pyramid for this one. Top Notes: Lime, Lavender, Mardarin Orange, Mint, and Grapefruit. Heart: Nutmeg, Cypress, Cinnamon, Tarragon, and Geranium. Base: Leather, Tonka Bean, Patchouli, Musk, and Guaiac Wood. Out of these I mainly smell the leather and musk. I don't get anything but lavender in the opening. There are hints of the other notes but besides the ones I've mentioned cinnamon seems to stand out. Really nice fragrance and you could do a lot worse and spend 5 times the money. Giving this one a B.

As agreed by so many, a terrific frag at a terrific price.
Don't let the initial sweetness turn you off. It's more complicated and original than the first projection. Dry down is light and spicey. This is a great all-year-round fragrance that deserves to be part of most wardrobes. Just goes to show that you don't have to spend a million to smell like a success. Wonderful!
