Very similar to a lot of other colognes I've smelled, namely Calvin Klein Man but it's a little stronger and spicier. Nice casual wear.

Top: Sicilian bigarade, artemesia, bamboo leaves
Mid: Tuscan cypress, atlas cedar, bourbon geranium
Base: Indian vetiver, white musk, Indonesian sandalwood (from SF website)
Incanto pour Homme is a competent scent, not wildly exciting. It is a fresh, light wood: airy and simple in style. It is not spicy, sweet, or heavy. Thankfully it achieves its fresh aspect in a natural-smelling manner, without the irritating synthetic aspect one often finds in such scents. The opening has some good orange and dusky-green notes (the latter from the artemesia). The cypress could be more exciting and distinctive. The vetiver and sandalwood are quite mild. This won’t turn heads, but it is pleasant.

I am liking this as well. There is only one I really don't like by Ferragamo. It's the Incanto Essential which essentially I won't wear and won't bother judiging.

Incanto pour Homme has a fresh opening—fresh and somewhat citric from the bitter orange. There is a coniferous (cypress / cedar) note to the background of the opening notes. The coniferous note grows stronger as it moves into the middle of the pyramid, which has some very attractive accords—accords that are subtle, clear, and restrained and retain the initial freshness. The vetiver / sandalwood / musk dry down is in the usual pattern of being extremely subtle.

I feel that I have smelled this fragrance several times before—under several different names. Although I don’t find it very original, it is quite a good fragrance: It has some sophistication and is very well constructed. Rather short in longevity, though.

The fact that there hasn't yet been a thumbs down tells you it's not a bad fragrance. In fact its pleasant, but rather too woody/spicy to be a strictly day time scent but too sweet to be a night one either so its kind of an in between, perhaps for romantic wear as well, but like one of the reviewers says... "wear it all the time". I could have sworn i've smelt this scent before under a different house and name, like another reviewer mentions. I just can't put my finger on what, though it has a slight hint of Roger & Gallet Jean Marie Farina. Longevity is not a big problem on me surprisingly but it does tend to stay too close to the skin for my liking. Another person would have to be really close to you to catch a whiff of it. I prefer something 'louder'. Perhaps some would prefer its subtlety. But all in all, its a very, very pleasant, inoffensive smell.
P/S: the biggest setback is the stupid design of the bottle. you literally have to have tiny fingers to be able to squeeze them through the oval shaped metal structure over the button to push it, and i have trouble with that. But since i'm rating the contents and not the bottle, its a thumbs up for the scent.

As I was about to write about this, I glanced over the existing reviews to prevent unnecessary repetitiveness.
I find the_good_life to be exactly on point with this...or at least my impression/experience with this is much like his.
I totally discarded this because i couldn't smell it initially. Then I decided to apply it generously and it envelopes you in this wonderful...so much for not being repetitive...you get the point.
Not a bad buy if you can score one at the usual discount outlets. I am not the least bit curious about the rest of the ferragamo line after this though.

It’s pleasant enough, but it’s not really a head-turner or a very original scent. I love amber notes and this is supposed to have amber in it, after all , it is marketed as a woody fresh ambery frag by Ferragamo, but I waited and waited and the amber was found at the very end and it was very faint,so I was disappointed.
The fresh top is longlasting though, something a lot if the scents for men bypass with heady boozy openings that evaporate very rapidly, so that’s a good point for IncantoPH.
Other than that I fount it to be a little boring. This will have to wait on the sidelines for a long time. Best bits: the top notes and the wet woods on the basenotes. Worst part: longevity and weak amber.

Some fragrances are simply meant to be worn, not sniffed, test-carded or partially applied. I did Incanto injustice , having already mentally discarded it after a few test sprays which left me with the impression of an uninspired wispy floral bore. Luckily I decided to apply it liberally and wear it outside and lo and behold - it turns out to envelop you in a fresh, green, elegant and subtle haze of pleasantness. As stated in the other reviews, this will not raise eyebrows, but that's precisely the point. A very good choice for conveying style and sophistication in the summer season. On a side note: If "Incanto" is this subtle, what can "Subtil" be but distilled water?

It does not stand out amongst others though, but classy in my opinion. I recommend this one who sometimes have to dress well for meeting.

Incanto Pour Homme is probably the best of the three Salvatore Ferragamo’s colognes because it smells better than the regular Ferragamo and lasts longer than Subtil. A very nice and elegant woody-floral scent that is a change of pace from G. Armani and K. Cole and well suits the man of luxury and sophistication. The bottle is fairly exquisitely designed, too. It’s recommended for evening or romantic wear but… Awhhhh!!! what the hell… wear it any time. If you want to be very unique and stay away from the crowd; wear this adorable fragrance and you'll be enchanted.
