This is yet another occasion where I would classify something by this house as being unisex rather than feminine. It feels very linear on my skin, the only evolution is a subtle change of gear from the sweetly floral genesis to a floral citrus blend that is slightly tart, but subtle enough to be refreshing and crisp. The longevity is relatively poor, and I can really only imagine a hot weather use for this, when you just want an ephemeral pick-me-up post shower.

FdM begins with a bracing galbanum and fresh herbs accord. It is almost a white flowers colonge because of this bracing herbal opening. It smells a bit like cut grass and citrus. It dries down to a pleasant soapy white flowers floral. It could be a masculine for the right guy.

Caution: Wear this on the fabric as oppsoed to skin if you want to last it more than 2-3 hours. If you can go beyond that, then it is a pretty decent fresh herbal scent with a tinge of floral elements. I would classify it as unisex as it isn't floral enough to qualify it as feminine in my book. Not amongst the best creations from this house, but it is good quality stuff. If you liked Citron Citron and Tangerine Vert, then this might be right up your alley.

On my skin too this was a mere citrus scent with soft green/herbal notes and some very, very well hidden flowers (I get the honeysuckle) far in the background - after two hours it was already gone.

It smelled nice in the sample vial, like natural wildflowers and herbs gathered from a morning walk. On my skin, all I got in the beginning stages was a strong lemon, or some other citrus, none of the flowers. After a little while, I started to get some of the greens and light woods. Kept waiting for the flowers, but they never came. Finally settled into an herbal scent, very slightly spicy, which wouldn't be bad but it smells a little sour on my skin.

A walk in the morning of a cloudless day in June, somewhere at the sea, through lush grassland, along bushes with blooms still closed. That's the impression you get when you smell Fleur du Matin. A mild-fresh, green, subtle fragrance with pine, jasmine, honeysuckle and hints of galbanum and grapefruit. Quite different from other green scents due to its softness. An easy-to-wear unisex fragrance for summer days. The longevity is so-so.
