Paris Roses des Bois fragrance notes

Reviews of Paris Roses des Bois

A sharp rose note at the start and resembles to Paris enough to share its name. Just some more white flowers and violet and a bit of musk, it is more wearable than the original which is really overpowering.

To my nose, YSL's Roses de Bois is an exact scent twin to YSL's Paris. In fact, I really wished I'd had some Paris handy so I could have figured out the difference between the two. In any event, Roses de Bois is a deeply sweet rose jam scent that is quite elegant. I think it is great, but then I am a huge rose fan!

And now the quickie review for Roses des Bois: still fresh , but with an added light fruity kick of blackberry. It also has wild roses and the sandalwood has a better command of the basenotes, the top notes have a greener edge to it too. Very nice as is with the rest of the limited eds of YSL's Paris Frags. Delicate and femenine.

A surprise - retains the main theme of Paris, adds a softer rose accord and juxtaposes the entire composition against light woods. I finally feel like I can wear a little Paris!

Wonderful rose scent for summer, light, refreshing, feminine.
