On paper, this just doesn't add up. A truly bizarre combination of the artificial and the natural. But it works for me. I keep this and "Garage" all the time.

DOES ANYONE AGREE WITH ME THAT DRYCLEAN RESEMBLES EGOISTE? its almost like they have tried to build the synthetic version.

Dry Clean was a bit of a dissappoinment for me. Initially, it's quite a captivating scent with it's light, airy, synthetic nature. However, there is a strange sweetness to the scent which I find hard to stomach and I find it more grating on repeated wearings. Another minus would be its lack of longevity. I find with Dry Clean, it dissappears very quickly. It is not a band scent by any stretch, but definitely not the best in CDG's Synthetic series and one of the weaker scents from CDG overall. Odeur 53 or 71 are better for fans of synthetics.

Match made in heaven with rainy summer days, preferably with thunderstorm.

This is super strong fragrance with 24h lasting power and monstrous sillage. Very offputting if you cant ease yourself on the trigger.
Great on clothes too, you really should try it.

Bizarre mix of natural and artificial.

This is one of those evocative scents which takes me back in time, in this case, about 25 years.
As a little boy me and my buddies used to visit alot the laundry room of our apartment building. At the summertime, during the hot days, on our shorts and t-shirts, we went there to drink the water from water faucet....and many times someone had an idea to spray the water all over from the hose, so that eventually whole place was soaking wet.

That`s it. Dry Clean smells like fresh water, rinses and laundry detergents, metallic washing machines, rubber hoses, wet concrete floor and whiffs from the drying room.
It smells like life without a single problem.

Smells like dry clean chemicals. I hope its not toxic. But assuming Dry Clean is safe for wearing, why would you want to smell like this? Other than for novelty I don't see the logic of owning this one.

Nice one … this is one of those synthetic fragrances that have character and relevance… and an adequate modicum of beauty. It features such pleasant and unusual accords. The primary accord, I think, is the ozone / aldehydes partnership – a monument to synthetics that comes off as less synthetic and more naturally pleasurable than many of the ‘90s designers offerings. The fragrance does remind me of the smell of dry cleaned clothing. It’s fresh, clean, chemical, and synthetic – in the same vein as but less synthetic than Tommy T. I enjoy the accords more than I enjoyed Odeurs 53 and 71, because it’s a much more lovable and wearable scent. It projects about the same as a typical aquatic, and has very good longevity. Try it.
