273 Red for Men (2004)

Whose bright idea was it in the 90s to start that awful trend of cranking out endless "Red" fragrances?! I'm talking about crap like Joop, Xeryus Rouge, Jacomo Rouge. which all smell and look like cough syrup.

Fred Hayman released this bottle of Robitussin with a dose of animalic funk, which smells like musk or possibly civet. No it isn't completely vile, but it's about as exciting as a can of peas. And yes, cough syrup cologne lovers, it does "smell red." Why would anyone want to smell like this?

Someone mixed their bottle of Xeryus Rougue in with some Kouros. No development in this scent whatsoever and the "Kouros" accord of a civet-like note is so watered down in this it becomes unbearable because it's so unimaginative. Offensive and disgusting.
