Reviews of Jovan Heat Man - Fired Up ![]() man114 United StatesShow all reviews | Weird stuff. The Blue variety of the "Heat" series, aka Fired Up, is a weird fresh scent. You get some citrusy notes up front and in the middle but as it fades it takes on a weird leafy green scent. The lable says something about "fig leaf", and I don't know if that is what it is but its unusual. So while it is clean smelling it smells that way in an atypical way as whatever contibutes to the vague leafy scent is kind of like laundry dried on a line with a bit of the outdoors and a bit of ozone. I've worn it before, I'll wear it again, its cheap, and I bought several bottles but by no means is it the masterpiece that the Hot Bod Musk is/was. At least Hot Bod musk smells fairly well blended for a cheap synthetic musk, this just has a weird note about it and doesn't strike me as a typical fresh scent. On a positive its not a bad, but it isn't what you expect. Hot Bod Musk gets the nod here if you want to be cheap, but Fired Up is OK overall. 16th September, 2010. |
| bront82 United StatesShow all reviews | If you're a musk lover and you can find this, its worth a sniff. In its Windex style dispenser (I'm sorry, I can't call this a bottle), its Jovan marketed for the now generation. For the money, it could certainly be worse, but I don't find this sweet musk anything but cloyingly synthetic. I wish it were sexy, but it just smells cheap. Also discontinued. 17th April, 2008. |
