An aggressive opener of Germolene and B Never too Busy fave - jasmine. Settles to just Germolene, and the Germolene never gets any weaker. Just awful.

This is sophisticated, a little fruity, like a perfumed fruit punch - the name cocktail is apt. There are traces of face powder and lipstick, I swear - it's as if you're sipping something frivolous and alcoholic when putting your make-up on before going out.

Notes mentioned on the site: Ylang absolute , calanga petals, Mediterranean jasmine, rose absolute, orange flowers, oak moss, sandalwood.

This is heavy on the ylang and it is mixed with something purple, I would say lavaner more thabn jasmine though. Either way the ylang dominates and together with the oak moss it creates something very nice that tries to imitate ' classic' perfumes (aldehydes) and comes across very mature and elegant but it's perfectly wearable. I doubt that many women will enjoy this below age 16 but they could.

People have responded saying I smell of food and spiceyness and I think it is because it evokes the feeling of elegance and comfort without being a real gourmand perfume.

It is something different and very pleasant and very purple.

I liked the idea behind the description of this scent: "It’s redolent of a very adult world; of glamorous parties, shimmering cocktail dresses and your mother on her way out to a special evening wearing her highest heels. How we longed to go too!" Unfortunately it immediately evoked an unpleasant memory association, one that doesn't even belong to me! The closest I can describe it is one of looking at a faded photograph of a middle class suburban mom from the 60s; yes she's got her pearls on, but she's also downing a couple valium whilst looking blankly at the hors d'oeuvres on the kidney bean-shaped coffee table. Not pleasant.
