Bogart and Ted Lapidus do a great job creating nice fragrances for a reasonable price. Their fragrances usually have something different that distinguish them from boring mass-marketed scents. You just have to smell Lapidus pour homme, Altamir, Bogart Signature and One man show to understand what I'm talking about. I mean: you won't pass through the experience showing indifference.
Ironically, This one is the most suitable fragrance I've ever tested from these brands.
It's probably their approach to the aquatic mania that has dominated fragrance industry these days. But as I said, even being less distinctive, It's still good enough to worth a purchasing. The maritime pine and kumquat notes give an unique smell to the fragrance: It's fresh and at the same time classy. As if you had the green smell of pine combined with marine notes in a light way. These notes stay even at the drydown and also make a good mix with some woods.

This IS BlueTed. Not like it, it's the same product renamed. I bought BlueTed the other day as a tester and it has the same sticker on the bottle with note listing, exactly the same and they smell EXACTLY alike. Odd!

The notes up here are missing "tonic zest" in the top notes, and the patchouli is a "light patchouli", the jasmine here are the petals of the flower also, all of this, as written on an info sheet i got along with a 2ml vial i got.
Now to the review, this is an EDT, that i like very much. I think i'll get it in the future. The top notes are fresh and kinda marine, but not fish marine, more as luxury boat marine. It's a rather sweet frag after a while, in a fruity sense and doesn't go bad at any time. The drydown is elegant and smooth, a bit sensual. The scent reminisces of a vacation, taking a sun bath, at least for me. It's a "young scent", and everything a "young" scent for males would like to be. Lasting power was very good. After a couple of hours, you can still smell it. It's generally easy to get and (i think) it's sold cheap but i gave this a try anyways and was very happy to do so cause it's a winner for me. This is a woody-aromatic light sweet scent so if you are looking for a citrus-fourgere or an oriental, this is not for you!.
