Reviews of parfums*PARFUMS Series 7 Sweet: Nomad Tea| pistachio Show all reviews | Nomad Tea is the strange combination of SWEET spearmint toothpaste and smooth bitterness like a leather chair. The result? The scent of a posh Dentist. I rate this perfume a thumbs down for me, because it lacks intimacy and warmth. But the smell would be strangely comforting in an office, comforting in the strange way Doublemint is for carsickness. Neutral thumb. 4th December, 2010. |

Nomad Tea really opens with an herbal mint, and at this moment it conjures to my mind the smell of the mint leaves when you crushes it with your fingers and start to smell the green juice that they expel. Then, you notice really something more artificial on this mint as pointed out by other reviewers. I quite like it this fusion of nature and industry mint and it what makes this one stand out to me. It`s not only an herbal mint, it`s also a gum mint, a mouthwasher mint, a dentist mint, sort of a complex creature that stands out in its weirdness and cozyness. The sweetness in this one is supported by a lovely sugar accord that gives you an impression of sugar being burnt - is that moment when sugar has a burnt and a syrupy smell, something like caramel, syrup and liqueur - and matches perfectly the mint, accentuating the sweet smell of it and giving the mint a liquer side that i truly appreciate. 17th May, 2010. |

![]() siren65 Show all reviews | I have to add a note because i changed my mind about this one. yes it does have a slight dentist office beginning, but i found myself wanting to wear it more and more...so much so that i am buying a bottle. it is fresh and sort of business like and at the same time playful. clear but quirky. I do not, however smell anything approaching tea. but it's lovely all the same. 31st January, 2006. (Last Edited: 23rd March, 2006.) |
