Tommy Summer Cologne 2005 (2005)

Light, soapy, and extremely fresh. Has a subtle marine accord throughout. Quite possibly the best Summer version of any cologne I've ever tried. Absolute perfection!

I was glad to try this one out.
I happen to have the right chemistry for it and it’s fantastic.
Good longevity, fresh but just a bit sweet too, the marine notes are very real-smelling and it really is beachy.
Simple, but sometimes, I’m a simple guy.

Whoa, this is very lemony with plenty of veviter and a nice masculine marine accord. This smells great on a man with the right chemistry for it. If you don't have the right chemistry you'd smell like a big plastic lemon.

I find this to be somewhat similar to their True Star for woman, but the masculine basenotes keep it from smelling totally unisex. Very light and fresh, seems to capture fairly well the essence of summer, of watching a sunset on some beach in the Caribbean, a wonderful breeze on your casual clothing. Perhaps I'm slightly biased to these images because I purchased this while on vacation in Florida, but it's what inevitably comes to mind on every sniff.

Obviously directed to the under-35 market. Fine for very casual daytime wear. Smells almost exactly like L'eau par Kenzo for women, but with some added basenotes. Some might find it a bit on the feminine side. It's light, invigorating, and has decent staying power.
