I was suggested this fragrance by a sales assistant as being similar to Noa Perle by Cacharel which I was also trying at the time.

The two fragrances are indeed similar with their opening top notes, however I much prefer Noa Perle in the drydown.

Eau De Rubylips is a very Summery fragrance with a citrusy and sour opening of grapefruit and a heart of pineapple and magnolia. I don't like grapefruit at the best of times, neither the smell or taste, however it wasn't too badly presented in this fragrance. Pineapple is another note that I usually detest in fragrances, yet the magnolia made the pineapple note softer and more balanced.

I'll be honest and say that this fragrance will never appeal to me, however for lovers of fruity florals and fragrances like Light Blue by Dolce & Gabbana and Baby Doll by YSL, this fragrance could be the one for you.

The lasting power is pretty average, I never got to the base notes because the fragrance had disappeared before then.

A pleasant but transparent fruity floral with mildly woodsy undertones. While there are indeed structural similarities to D&G Light Blue, the more muted approach in EAU DE RUBYLIPS achieved what Light Blue could not: balance. That the formula may be found in today's shampoos and bath products should not detract from the fact that this is a wearable fragrance even if it wears a little too thinly on my skin.

As foetidus mentions, this does smell a lot like Light Blue and also Black XS for men (I'm convinced the perfumer just threw in truffle to Light Blue, same perfumer for both scents!)

Rather unisex really more fruity than floral. Nothing like Ruby Lips at all.

Eau de Ruby Lips is lightly clean, warmly sweet, and refreshingly fruity, and it has a tiny bit of an exotic edge to it. It is a unique and an entirely enjoyable fruity floral: It has light sillage, it’s powdery. I like that it is unique and quite original (except for the approximately forty-two seconds it smells a bit like Light Blue), and I like that it is both fresh and a sensual. A drawback is that it has rather poor longevity. It’s an excellent little scent that is certainly worth a testing.

The lighter version of Rubylips, it's sweet, kind of naughty, goes on very sheer on the skin, and it's fun, it doesn't take itself very seriously. I like it but I don't die for it, there is a certain commoness to it that isn't my cup of tea, otherwise, a perfectly perfect scent perfect for sassy rubylipped girls.

This review is for Eau de RubyLips EDP: the scent is nothing alike the original ruby lips wich is a very sweet boudoir-like scent, and this one is a much softer, cleaner , lighter scent. It's powdery and it's very likeable. The lasting power is awful. Youll have to spray many times to make it last and then after one hour, spray again. It's musky and airy and it sort of reminds me of a nice cozy winter bed with new linens and soft light. On the right girl it smells great!.
