It's weird - usually perfume snobs HATE cucumber scents (honestly, as a note it's usually used in really awful "marine" scents) but everyone seems to like Cucumber Baie. It's probably because of the interesting vegetal nature of the perfume - it's got the usual cucumber, but it's surrounded by bell pepper and cilantro and other leafy greens, as well as a big shot of juiciness that makes the whole thing smell fresh and vibrant and not trashy or "aquatic" at all. And, like Quarry said, it's fantastic on hot days.
As a side note, this is no longer discontinued. It's been resurrected as a fountain perfume in Fresh boutiques, including some Neiman Marcus stores. I bought the smallest bottle for around $20 and wore it all summer.
Sadly they stopped making this one before I could buy it. Fantasticly cool and soothing. One to keep in the fridge for summer days. The sort of thing one would add to a martini if it were potable. Reminds me of L'eau D Isseye.
Nice fresh cucumber scent great for summer. Cucumbers and some light citrus. Very pleasing.
A classic for hot summer days. Tthere is the initial bright blast of grapefruit and galbanum that travel through to the long lasting middle of cucumber until the base notes of velvety amber come through. Like most of Fresh's Index line, there is a deceptive amount of sillage from this seemingly light scent, so use a light hand. Having written that, I've never received anything but raves over this scent.
THEE BEST SCENT FOR SCORCHING HOT DAYS. There is the initial cuke blast, which shortly mellows to something akin to a soft floral that lingers a long time right next to the skin. Cooling, refreshing. My favorite of the Fresh line. Can layer with other florals.
