I am a bit surprised by how positively this has been reviewed here. Cinnamon-apples over a too sweet woody base. I do not like this.

I wanted so bad to like this, but I don't. When I read about it, it was built up to be this amazing scent, but it was just way too sweet for me. To me it's cloying sugary sweet, not warm sweet. I can understand people liking this... it isn't terrible, just not for me.

Strength: medium

Lasting: 3-4hrs

This was another blind purchase from reading reviews and I was surprised. Its a nice spicy/sweet smell although I find after an hour or two it becomes powdery on me. For the cost I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a cinnamon/sweet spicey scent.

A basic sweet and spicy fragrance with no discernible drawbacks.

a very rich blend of simple notes such as cinnamon bark, tonka, apples and others that pleases the nose. a comfort scent that yet appeals to others as well as the wearer.definately the best bang for the buck as it has a drug store price tag. a sweet and fruity powdery scent comparable to dior homme but no iris. a definate masterpiece that will always have a place on my shelf.

Picked up a 1 oz. bottle for about 10 dollars. It was surprisingly sweet at first. It mellows out and vanilla starts to show up in this frag. I have worn it a total of about 6 times in the last 2 months and have never been disappointed by Carlos Santana. Thumbs up.

Wow.. how sweet you are! Opens with a sweetness that might have some wondering, but give this beaute a chance!. Begins with what I would describe as a fruity cotton candy fragrance and dries down to a semi-sweet musk that is quite pleasant and not too powdery. I initially thought "too sweet" myself, but luckily for me, I gave this one a revisit to find that I really like it. I think I'll keep this pimp juice!

Unique! What other men's fragrance opens with the smell of cinnamon and cooked apples? Wow, what a wonderful opening! This is the sort of fragrance that you look forward to spraying on yourself.

Upon dry-down, the cinnamon and apple scent remain evident (but not nearly as strong as in the opening), and a prominent lavender and vanilla scent come forward. I don't like the bass scent quite as much as I love the opening, but all-in-all this is a wonderful fragrance! In the off-chance that you don't like the smell of cinnamon, suck it up and wear this anyway. The women will appreciate you for it! :P

One of my favorites!

This is by far the best celebrity fragrance I've ever used! I'm not normally into lavender, but it works well here. The spiced apples and woodsy notes are just wonderful! Ladies love this one and it can be worn any time if you don't go overboard with it!

It must smell better on others obviously because this doesn't do anything on my skin and I've tried it several times. I'm one of those people, I guess most of us are really, where something either smells good on you or it doesn't. It's not a bad smell at all but it doesn't do anything for my skin. I can smell the apple, cinnamon and so on but they aren't awe inspiring on my skin, just not good on me. I actually wish I could wear more fragrances than I can but I'm one of those people that loves a lot of scents but can't wear many of them because they don't smell right on me.

Quite aromatic—maybe there is clove in there along with the lavender and incense. It’s strongly aromatic but it doesn’t go overboard — it has excellent balance. Thank goodness the lavender in the opening is underplayed — it remains perceptible in the background but doesn’t take over, as it is often wont to do. The lavender does grow to take up more space as the fragrance progresses, and it gets to be very important by the time Carlos Santana for Men has run its course, but even though I often dislike lavender in a fragrance, this one doesn’t get too strong for me. For sure this is not your everyday generic sweet fruity synthetic mess that is so often offered now days. This one is unique, and part of its uniqueness is that it is unabashedly masculine — I like that because it is something I have not seen very often lately. It has a solid presence and very decent longevity. It is an excellent fragrance — a winner.

I'll be blunt -- I heard the name and instantly turned up my nose. (Celebrity frags usually have that effect on me, so I'm instantly prejudiced.)

It goes almost without saying that I'm awfully, awfully glad I listened to well informed fellow Basenoters and sampled this juice -- this is really good!

Goes on very fruity and spicy (strong apple notes in the opening), but it dries down quickly to an invitingly warm heart and base. An incredible bargain, too!

Fabulous. Finally, a new men's fragrance that actually smells manly! One of the few fragrances I smell on a man that is an instant aphrodisiac. Enough said.

I think that it is a great scent. One in which I wear on date night with my by wife because she loves the scent. Women in my office really like this one when I wear it occasionally.

After trying the EDT, I was expecting to come to basenotes and read more people have negative reviews b/c I really loved the scent - kinda scary when people are in agreement w/ me.

The top is spice, cinnamon, apple, fruits, lavender and are just awe inspiring.

The middle continues w/ this top, but builts in, a manly smoky smell along the lines of incense or tobacco. The base does away w/ deserty notes and you get a drydown that is oriental and manly at the same time.

This is Avon's Tomorrow, thrice improved: made less sweet, more spicy and with smoky notes. Great staying power, just like Tomorrow. Cannot see why women would not love this scent (on me).

My husband came out of the bathroom with this on and it smelled to me of my Burberry Brit. I must have an odd nose, but I really do love it.

I got a sample bottle of this wonderful scent a few days ago. personally I think it's delicious. I don't know if I'll purchase it or not, but I do think it's a great scent.

Very spicy, and as has been noted by some females I have been around -sexy. They seem to love it, and I do aswell.

VERY nice. A note of cinnamon, and an apple quality, not freshly sliced apples, but a cooked spice apple character. There's more to it than those, but that may give you some idea.

Overall, an attractive sweet-spicy gourmand scent that's very easy to like. For me, it has pleasant sillage and about medium longevity.

When I first sampled this on a card, it didn't really register, vanishing almost immediately, so I forgot about it. Later, after having tried it several times on the skin, I went for it. After buying it, I ended up wearing it many days in a row, something I rarely do even with my favorites.

The combination here of spices and fresh scents did not work for me. Not terrible but not something I will try again.

I love it. Apple, cinnamon, tonka bean, lavender...This reminds me of Armand Basi pour Homme, but sweeter, tangier and with more vanilla! Well done!
