As far as pleasant little soapy musk fragrances go, Perfect Veil fits the bill. I am not a huge fan of this genre, preferring exciting over comforting smells, but given what they set out to do, Creative Scentualization achieved their goal. The notes in Perfect Veil are enjoyable, the sillage is good and there is no cheapness about it. A similar perfume in terms of smell and quality is Sonoma Scent Studio's Opal.
Here are the notes per Luckyscent: lemon, bergamot, musk, vanilla and sandalwood.
Perfect Veil is a deliciously soft skin scent. Reminds me very much of Ava Luxe Pearl Musk which I love too.
Mmmm...dreamy. Perfect Veil is an alluring, sweet musk perfume that smells serene, and provocative. I've seen it compared to Sage Pearl, but it's distinctly different on my skin. Pearl and Veil are both considered to be "skin" scents, and Pearl is sweeter, and delicately feminine, while Perfect Veil is muskier, with a deeper essence. It makes me think of a sweeter, lighter Narciso Rodriguez For Her. Perfect Veil is a warm, yet mysterious, fragrant temptress...who doesn't intend merely to tempt. It's long-lasting, and it stays close to the skin, making it very personalized, and perfect to wear in crowds. A wardrobe staple for perfume Shangri-La.
This really does smell like clean skin, only better. I bought the oil so I could wear perfume in non-perfume situations (e.g doctor's appointment). A little dab is all you need. This fragrance is blessedly free of the carpet shampoo note I get in other "clean" fragrances.
