Reviews of Lotus  Off-Scenter  Show all reviews  | Jalaine's Lotus is very "perfumey," and far removed from the spicy, ethereal perspective on this flower offered by Dawn Spencer Hurwitz's exquisite Padme Lotus. While the DSH scent, with its exotic, almost mystical base of vetiver, sandalwood, and violet leaves is unisex, if not overtly masculine, Jalaine Lotus is all about grandma's closet. I suppose it might be useful for blending or layering, but on its own it's just too fusty and dowdy to consider wearing. 23rd December, 2009. |
