Eau Sublime

Light and delicate florals in this treasure, but as light as delicate as it is, Sublime has a very real presence – how do they do that? Citrus, white flowers, with iris open Sublime and I think the iris has an excellent little kick to it—a little green, a little bitter, providing a creative tension which changes an excellent accord into a brilliant one. This little bitterness provides a contrast to the point where, for a minute or two, I don’t think of this fragrance as feminine, but then the touch of powder enters into the picture and my perception of the femininity of the fragrance returns. The flaw of the fragrance is that it is ephemeral – the levels simply do not last long enough, which is quite sad because they are so very attractive. I don’t get much of a drydown except for the sharp pleasantness of lime and flowers. Of course, even though the scent doesn’t last long, I feel it should be appreciated for the way it retains its beautifully refined presence till the end. Translucent and subtle and delicately refined—Rancé Sublime is truly sublime. 188

Outstanding. This is something like a female version of Creed Erolfa! An extremely worthy addition to any lady's wardrobe, but particularly those who live in warmer climes. The ingredient list includes: Mandarin, Lily of the Valley, White Musk, Neroli, Lilac, Myrtle, Florence Iris, Hyacinth, and Lime. Great stuff!
