Cool Water Game for Her (2006)

I get an aquatic vibe from Coolwater Game for Her, even though it is primarily a fruity white floral. I suppose that the aquatics are necessary for a Coolwater flanker. This one is very predictable: It’s quite youthful, it’s not very unique, it serves as an adequate extension of the original Coolwater, and it has quite good longevity. The apple dominates in the opening with some help from citrus, and all I can say about it is “I’ve been here before.” The florals – lily and freesia – form a pleasant, boardering-on-exotic fruity / floral accord that is quite pleasant, a bit edgy, and not at all original. I don’t get much of a drydown – maybe a little musk that mingles with the waning florals and exotic fruit of the middle. Not a scent I can get excited about.

Could a scent get more common than this? Another fruity-floral that has longevity and sillage problems and tries to pass as aquatic.
I'll pass.
