Unforgivable Woman (2007)

I clearly dont understand the negative reviews on this sweet innocent feminine fragrance. On me it smells delightful and i know other people who also love this scent. It is an inoffence smell i is perfect for work as it is not too over powerful. I can smell the cucumber, apple , jasmine, freesia and the coco de mer which gives it a slightly gourmand smell but not in a sickly way like Angel.
Does need to be applied a couple of times a day though as the silage is not that strong.
I have bought thid twice now and will continue to purchase it in the future

It is a sweet, gentle, relaxing, romantic and unique scent.
It smells like vanilla and jasmine.
It is an Oriental - Floral type of perfume.
It has a delightful smell that you don’t find in most perfumes.
I don’t understand why I’m the first one to complement this perfume. I know two other people who like this perfume too.
I say give this perfume another chance, especially if you like soft, sweet, vanilla or jasmine smelling perfumes.

I've tried this perfume and regretted so much!! What is that smell??

I think this is the only fragrance I've tried that had cleanly separated phases. It was bizarre. At first spray, it was all alcohol-y. And then, for 30 minutes, it smelled only of pears. Just pears! Like some pear glycerin soap that I bought from Victoria's Secret once.

Then after 30 minutes, abruptly, the pears were gone. Not even a hint. Then it became a fruity-flowery-sandalwood scent. There was something gourmand about it that I couldn't put my finger on. And even something aromatic, like sage (even though I don't see it listed in the notes above). How it managed to be simultaneously fruity, florally, aromatic, and gourmand, I dunno.

Then four hours later, HORRORS! It became straight patchouli. The sandalwood was gone. The pears were long gone. Geh! Mercifully, it didn't last very long. After about 2 hours, the patchouli was gone too.

That middle part was pretty nice. If that part had stuck around longer I would have liked this one much more.

I disliked this perfume immediately after applying it .It has staying power and it would not go away. It has some weird twang in it that did not agree with me .

In a nutshell Unforgivable Woman is a fruity floral with a slightly powdery kick. Very feminine in the traditional sense of fragrance. Kind of reminds me of the way old fashioned cosmetics used to smell. You know ~ powdered rouge, cakey lipstick, french milled face powder. The blending of notes is pleasant - sweetly subtle, but just doesn't "wow" me.
