Very sweet, but light enough not to be cloying. When I was a kid, I had a couple of toy dolls that were "cupcake" scented (many toy companies seem to use this gimmick, so this particular scent I'm referring to is more common than it sounds). Forever and Ever, to me, has this exact "toy cupcake" scent. I picked up a bottle of this just for nostalgia's sake. I can't really imagine this being appropriate for a work setting, or for a fancy/formal occasion. In my view, it's more of a fun, frivolous scent meant only for the girliest of casual moments. It seems quite strong straight out of the bottle, but it quickly dissipates -- on me, it never lasts more than 2 hours max. 31 July 2009

When my fiance came to visit me from overseas, he brought this home as a gift. I love that he gifted me with a parfum, and I thanked him vehemently...but now that he's gone back home for a time I am glad to not have to wear it anymore. He did a great job to an extent as this parfum has a lot of my favorite notes, however I would switch most of the flowers to fruit or woods or SOMETHING! hahaha I don't love it. It does feel very immature to me as well, but I think will be a nice thing to keep in the bedroom to spray on right out of the shower before bed to entice him as he obviously likes it very much and it really *does* have that fresh-from-a-bath scent doesn't it? I rarely wear EDTs and so this will strictly be used as a body spray for me and, in the morning when only the base notes remain, (all of which I love) it will make a nice partner to many parfums I already own. 25 January 2009

One of the smells that everybody may like, that means not a very different and unique scent. But if you enjoy floral scents this is one of the best! A good composition of jasmine and almond, not sweet just fresh and lovely.. I receive tons of compliments from people when I wear this, at least more than 10 different people so far, more than my signature scent Allure :-( So if you want to go middle way and do not want to offend anyone, this is the best! especially for summer days 04 September 2008

I love this perfume! Sweet, fruity floral but put together beautifully. It smells like a juicy, delicious rose mixed with other pretty things. I actually smelt this perfume on a girl on the bus but didn't ask her what it was - I assumed it would be a Christian Dior fragrance and I was right thankfully. Otherwise I could be without my favourite perfume in my collection right now. For those that find rose notes overpowering, Forever and Ever has managed to avoid including the punged whoa factor in that note. The rest of the notes come together beautifully. This is not some deep, heady fragrance with white flowers and dryness - it's sweet, juicy, pretty but in my opinion still retains sophistication. 30 April 2008

Forever and Ever is a freesia and jasmine combination that is nice but honestly, it is a little boring. I think it would appeal to someone that wants very clean-smelling light fragrance for summer. 26 April 2008

And I crazy? Or am I smelling what it seems like one of givenchy’s limited editions but a little stronger and less pretty? Haters of soft fruity florals , stay away from this one. It feels very girly and somewhat immature, but at least it lasts more than what I expected. When I said less pretty I should say that whenever I think “pretty” in fruity florals I mean delicate and even a bit naïve, qualities that seem a bit lost here. This girl is a bad one. She may say forever and ever but in reality she means for right now. 09 April 2007
