In Control Curious fragrance notes

Reviews of In Control Curious

Gorgeous. Fruity, musky and sensual. Grown up but still with a touch of sweetness.

Straight to the creme brulee and middle notes, I couldn't detect the loquat fruit at all. That being said, I found the scent soft, rich and creamy. I love it. I'm giving it a neutral though because the spray mechanism is ineffective and awkward to use. I have to open the bottle & dab. The bottle is a pretty dresser decoration.

I have quite often stated that this fragrance is the one scent that I do not like from Britney's fragrance line, however since trying it again, my opinions have somewhat changed.

Although I will not be adding In Control: Curious to my existing Britney collection, I do appreciate this scent.

The fragrance opens with a rich, slightly sweet, cake-like scent. It reminds me of those exquisite Italian cakes that you buy fresh from the bakery, with the cream oozing from the middle and the aroma of the chocolatey goodness and the strong liquer filling the room.

Seconds later you are met with a fruity punch, almost like a bowl of fruit salad. The fruits are there throughout the drydown with subtle hints of vanilla and caramel every now and then.

This fragrance isn't soft and light like Curious, and definitely not as sweet as Fantasy. It's somewhere in between.

It's a somewhat mysterious fragrance, however I wouldn't call it sexy. Flirtatious in nature and incredibly girly, I can see this fragrance appealing to many. In Control: Curious, like her other fragrance Believe, can be worn by any woman of any age, it's versatile enough to do so.

I'm not sure what it is that stops me from falling in love with this fragrance, I think it might have something to do with its dominant fruity notes not blending well with my skin chemistry. With that being said, it's hard not to be impressed by Britney's fragrance line. She has put her name to many great and popular scents, this fragrance not being an exception

DELICIOUS. A very convincing Creme Brulee scent. I literally salivated.
Very warm, edible vanilla drydown. Unfortunately not particularly good longevity.

Not too bad. A little bit sweeter than Curious. Anyway I like them both (Curious and In-Control). Same as the previous one, it lacks the staying power. Very good smell anyway

I have finally tried all of the Britney scents and this is my absolute favorite. I haven't smelled anything quite like it. The first spray is absolutely delish, my favorite part of the experience. The loquat is really complemented by the musky/woodsy scents. Makes me think of sexy fruit--don't ask. LOL

As wonderful a scent as this one is, it does not last at ALL. Not even an hour on me. It is truly a shame because this scent has such potential. I wish the folks at Elizabeth Arden would go back to the drawing board with In Control and give it more staying power.

Like the person who said it smelled of Playdoh on her, the last remnants smell salty on me also! Weird! So I just keep spraying it on, I am addicted to that first burst of woodsy loquat fruit.
Another cool bottle design from the EA company.
