Pretty fresh(invigorating), fruity and gingery openin accords which in 15 minutes settle to whats is very clearly, a very realisitic accord of tuberose. more like the petals and not the absolute. lingers on pretty well and settles to a dusty, woody base. overall, i would call this a Tuberose based scent. if you have a collection of over 30 scents then you have better scents to hunt for. this is okay for someone who is specifically looking for a gentle, floral. btw, this one is very much unisex.

Also I get is a rosy berry and very perfumey scent. Nothing very amazing or outstanding. In fact, it's a generic feminine fruity floral.

Guerilla 2 is a quirky little fragrance that I liked right off the bat but then, I tend to enjoy off-beat perfumes such as Escentric Molecules Escentric 01 and CdG Peppermint.

It is hard to say definitively what Guerilla 2 smells like and heaven knows, the name is no help. However, from this I get a fresh green/slightly citrus fragrance that has a touch of ginger and musk. As it dries down, a warm yet delicate vetiver note emerges. Guerilla 2 is truly a unisex fragrance, appealing to both men and women.

Here are the notes for Guerilla 2: bergamot, pink pepper, ginger, red pepper, curcuma, raspberry, tuberose, vetiver, cedarwood, and musk.

Much better than Guerrilla 1, which is not a difficult thing to be: All they had to do is leave our Guerrilla 1’s raw meat note. Guerrilla 2 opens with a light floral / spice accord; the pepper adds interest to the simple bergamot / ginger opening. The middle accord is spicy, sweet and floral, and equally light. It’s enjoyable. The base is rather an ordinary woody musk. It’s not a complicated fragrance and it is light and subtle. The accords are creative and pleasant, but I wouldn’t call them engrossing or intriguing; they’re different; they’re very nice. I don’t know what CDG were trying to do when they developed this Guerrilla line of fragrances. The first one presented a butcher shop odor, and this one presents… well, it’s nice … yawn.

It has that synthetic, cool, perhaps floral note of Guerilla 1, but what adds interest is an almost rhubarb-like (I love rhubarb!) topnote. I guess it's the berry sweetness of raspberry with the added citrus freshness of bergamot. Come to think of it... it reminds me of a raspberry-flavoured carbohydrated water called "Frost" and supposed to taste frosty... It has a similar vibe of sweet raspberries covered in snow... The scent is sweeter though, almost syrupy in a yummy way. I don't get any spice except maybe the freshness of ginger.

This is actually quite feminine. Both 1+2 are pretty feminine scents. They are nice though just nothing earth shattering.

"What happened to CDG?" the phrase that seemed to be echoing among many lovers of scents shortly after this new series hit the street...I didnt expect too much out of this scent after hearing everybody's chagrin, but my loyalty to CDG wouldnt allow me not to buy such a highly anticipated scent...

What happened to CDG? I'll tell you what...they shifted the paradigm of what a scent is...again...now that every mainstream design house is producing another one dimentional "smoky and mysterious" sleeping potion or a sickly "gourmand" yawn fest, CDG retaliates in true guerrilla fashion, ambushing us with something so completely unexpected that most dont even get it. To me G2 has a bit of a "tropical" smell, I dont really get all the spicyness or whatever. A bit more feminine, but that's what makes it so cool for us guys to wear...it's unexpected, just like (I suspect) the whole concept behind this new Guerrilla series (the element of surprize)...It's deffinately sweet, it reminds me of partying up on a beach somewhere the hot sun beating down, chilled fresh fruit, strong cocktails, and loud music. Some may disagree, but, I think that G2 is yet another home run from the company that is "Like the Boys"...

Got a sample of this and although I love
CdG as a rule - this was just *there*
it had a little whimper of pepper and pimento ? at the open and then just turns into this non-descript , freshness or generic clean smell ? mind you - I'm a huge fan of incense and labdanum/cistus based offerings, Not really anything here that gets me reaching for my wallet.
Sad really - had high hopes for this.
Almost reminds me of that typical CdG
vinyl smell/undernote mixed with Polo
"Sport" not bad , just not really great
either.
