I tried this on accidentally as I was looking for The One for Men. I loved the opening, which smells like melon to me but maybe it was the peach + lychee. Very distinctive and delicious. The dry-down though turn into a run-of-the-mill female floral and stayed that way. Very disappointing.

Well, I'm in the middle on this one. A "medium" oriental/floral, opens with a fresh burst of fruitiness then drifts into a mild floral. Funny to read lillies in there, I cannot distinctly smell them. The heart notes are powdery sweet, then the base kicks in - which is what turns me off. It's kind of like Fresh's Sake. Something in it just sticks to the back of my throat. I'll give this one a neutral ~ but just barely.

Beautiful scent. I agree that it isn't earth-shattering, but it's definitely on the classic side with the vanilla in it. I like it.

I just love this perfume. On me it lasts and lasts (I put some on last night and I can still smell it).

Funny how different fragrances react so differently on different people: on me this lasts and feels grown up.

I had a sample bottle this summer and wore it all the time. So now the smell reminds me of vacation . . . nice in the middle of the winter. But that means, for me anyhow, it works year round.

The One's topnotes instantly reminded me of Light Blue, but richer and more sensual. The drydown is all amber and vanilla, but the fragrance stays sheer and subtle throughout. My guess is that Light Blue lovers will enjoy this, too. I liked The One, but the drawbacks are that it has minimal sillage and doesn't last very long. If you don't mind reapplying, it would be fine. Not full bottle worthy for me, but I would wear and enjoy it if given as a gift.

I was surprised when i first smelled this one because i was expecting it to not like it. The mandarin and lychee are the winners within the top notes, and the jasmin is more intense here than the listed lily of the valley and the madonna lily. If only i could do something about the far too common basenotes.
Nice, but not truly original, earth-quakin' nor breath-takin'.

I really wanted to like this but all i got was lemon, really before it disappeared completely. Might hve to try it again but it did irritate my skin too.

I tried this perfume in the department store today. It's pleasant enough, but certainly doesn't light my fire.

This is a very nice fragrance. It's a nice combination of the sickly (lily), the fresh (vanilla) and the earthy (vetiver). I think this really is a young womans' fragrance. It would be a much classier statement than the 'in control' 'curious' etc frag's are.

Top notes are very fruity, peach, mango, apricot, and sticky. The heart is more floral, with a monoi, tiaré flower aspect. I agree that it smells more like a teenage fragrance, whereas the bottle and the packaging are very sophisticated, classical, and you would expect something more original, with more signature, in order to be really "the one", and not one more among the others...

The topnotes are awful: sickly sweet, like fruit bubble gum at it's most artificial. It becomes better after an hour as the basenotes are rather woody and warm.

I imagine it on a woman which has a hard time growing-up or on a teen who wants to act like a woman...

I don't get this new D&G at all. Too bad I rather liked the bottle and packaging. And Gisele in the ad... the ultimate amazon.

I have just tried this one in a department store - new release, I believe! Seems very "green" at first and quite fresh and uplifting. Not a great deal of lasting power and the drydown is fairly bland. A good everyday scent for the office, maybe.
