It's really not that bad, but not overly impressive at all. Among so many great scents, this one just doesn't stand out. Do not get me wrong, it is not a bad scent and girls love it! I think it should be given a chance. Will I have it? I don't know. At first I wanted it, but then I sniffed and sniffed, the more I sniffed around, this one just became not very interesting and later something I completely forgot about.

The original 212 is actually pretty decent, but this flanker is quite disappointing. A sweet mess, in my opinion. Not vile or anything, but not something I'd wear or enjoy smelling.

"212 Sexy Men" is not a fragrance for warm/hot weather. Will be far too sweet and cloying otherwise. Much better in the cool of the night or the middle of winter if used during the day. This is when this fragrance shines, and unleashes it's full "sexiness". Which it does have in abundance !
(I would even go as far as saying it is like the "poor man's" Musc Ravageur. It's the same type of scent. Not that it smells the same, but it is similar !). ... Wearing it daily and in warm weather is most probably the mistake that most people here, that hate it, are making. Or otherwise they just probably hate vanilla. For you need to enjoy vanilla to enjoy this 212 Sexy ! There is loads of spicy delicious vanilla in it !
Contrary to what has been mentioned in a few other reviews here, this scent does NOT smell at all like Le Male. They both have vanilla in them, but that is where the similarity starts and ends. Otherwise it smells totally and completely different ! ... (And the only thing it shares with Joop is the sweetness). Otherwise it's totally different from this one too !
They are also calling it fresh (???), and comparing it to 212 (Original). It really is not a fresh frag at all, it is much more of a warm oriental scent. And is far removed from the original 212, it's got it's own identity. (What would be the point of making it the same or similar ???)
Apart from all that, I do actually find it perfectly named. It's got loads of sweet vanilla, sandalwood and musk, with a somewhat funky edge. All notes that are usually associated with sensuousness and even lust !
It opens with some citruses (bergamot and mandarin). The heart then becomes nice and spicy due to the cardamom, pepper and floral notes. All sitting on a lovely rich base that harmonizes vanilla, musks and balsamic notes (sandalwood, vanilla, guaiacwood, musk and amber). ...
What's not to like ??? ...
Though it is imperative that it's used with a light hand. Less is most definitely more in this case. Unless used moderately you will just spoil it for yourself, and especially everybody around you ! ... It really is quite vile when oversprayed !!! ... (I mean, think about it, it was designed to be a sexy scent. So best for those "up-close" encounters in the dark of the night, when you really don't need to be dripping with too much fragrance. When the other person's nose is inches from your own skin. ... So it's best reserved for those occasional special times. And not a frag to be worn daily. Otherwise it can just get too much ! (It can also tend to develop a synthetic quality, which is my only reservation about this scent !)
Otherwise, when used as it was intended, it's yet another decent composition from Alberto Morillas ! ... (And a weapon in the wrong hands :o) !!! ) ...

I honestly really like this scent! I know its not fresh, or green like the original but who cares?! The world doesn't need another typically fresh scent anyway. The comparisons to Le Male are pretty valid but only to a certain extent. The beauty of this fragrance is in the key note that distinguishes it from Le Male: that musty, BO-ish, spicey note! It is this note that gives 212 sexy its sultry signature which is both compelling and divine. 212 Sexy is to the original 212 what Body Kouros is to Kouros. If you want to know what its like just imagine if Le Male had been created by a Spanish house. Muchos Gracias Senorita Herrera!

I doubt that any man would be even remotely sexy using this. It has a strong resemblance to Lanvin Arpege, providing the wearer with that elongated wet cardboard accord. It starts badly and goes nowhere. If only the fragrance was as interesting as the bottle that holds it.

I originally put ths review as I was reviewing 212 Men..(silver bottle) for some reason. This is not as good as 212,it's ok...but disappointing...as with the 212 Men...you expect something. This fails to deliver anything original for me...smells a bit like Joop Go Summer, and 1 Million by Paco Rabbane...The Joop Go summer is the best one...and the cheapest. Not bad...just disappointed
