Brilliant woody floral with rich, fruit-laden top notes. (Embarrassingly inexpensive stuff, too -- I saw this at a local Big Lots store for under $10.00 a bottle.) Massive longevity and incredible sillage with this little known Revlon gem.

I have tried this because it is supposed yo have a black currant note. I am crazy about this black currant note. Ask a few of your normal nosed friends about black currant smell. They will say you "does it smell?" yes it does smell. Not loud not memorable but it has a smell. I think using black currant as a note in a floral or fruity scent is like using a cat's purr as an sound in a symphonic rock song. To make it noticed you have to amplify it billion times. Is a billion times amplified sound is still a cat's purr?
Any way i am talking empty as i could not get any black currants here either.

Flair? Reminds me Pleasures by Estee Lauder. In fact very much like pleasures. In music, if a song contains a part longer than 8 measures, exactly same with a previous song, musician can be accused of stealing (i do not know what word is used for this act). In perfumery there is no measures. Bad for the designers.
I can say that it flair has more than eight measures in common with pleasures.

Smells very alcoholy when first applied but Flair has a lovely warm, berry and patchouli drydown and excellent staying power. Smells very different from any other, more expensive perfumes I have used before. Would be a little heavy for summer but is a lovely, everyday and inexpensive winter scent.

Very nice fragrance for every day wear. I tend to like woodsy fragrances, and this is fast becoming one of my favorites. It definitely smells more expensive than a drug store brand. Two thumbs up!

When was this written?

I was given a sample of this at a HBA store, let it sit around for about a month and finally opened it. I was pretty amazed. It's really lovely. Really.

Needless to say, I expected nothing from Revlon and a product that is sold in places like Wal-Mart, Walgreen's and probably any retailed that begin with the word "Wal."

Does anyone have further information on the derivation, history, marketing of this frag?

Am I the only one who thinks that it smells much more expensive than it is? Am I the only one who has ordered it?

Too strange.
