Opens with a combative fig leaf. Don’t wash it off; its viciousness is dissipated within five or six minutes. When it settles down the fig leaf note has become one of the most true fig notes I have encountered: The note seems to me to be quite pure, and even though I’ve seen lime and cedar mentioned in a pyramid, I can’t really detect them in the accord. It impresses me as as pure of fig leaf note as I’ve encountered. It’s very well done, but, being a simply a fig leaf note, it really isn’t enough to hold my interest for the duration of the fragrance. This would be a great fragrance for a fig leaf addict: It’s highly refined, it wears beautifully, and it is meditatively comfortable. The fig leaf just doesn’t do it for me, but I must give credit to the high quality of the fragrance.
