oh yes indeed this is magical!!! this is incense, sugar and creamy milkiness and some juicy red fruit--guava???
along the lines of lolita, kenzoflower and addict in terms of sweet delicious creamy, incense type of juice.
the bottle is exquisite--a thick slab of cobalt blue.
i did buy the toilette on this one, but it is rich, thick and lasting. i think the parfum would be the sweetest thing of them all.

I feel late to the game, but I only recently tried Magical Moon. I'm not sure why I overlooked it before. maybe it was the description of notes. I occasionally enjoy florientals and some fruity florals, but I'm very picky about my fruit notes - they have to be just right and there are so many listed in this one that I let that (along with the fact that original Hanae Mori was too sweet on me,) scare me away.
Magical Moon is creamy and sultry with a sophisticated kiss of sweet. As others have said, this is a romantic scent that would be wonderful for an evening out (or in, as it were.Something about this is seductively cuddly.) There is a great use of incense and woods in Magical Moon that is neither too dry nor too intense. This is a well-balanced, long lasting, sensuous delight!

an older ount shouldn't wear this I guess @ by tlc0717 )haha
I've tested the edp and I think this is a really extraorinary special scent (and I've smeelled quite a lot untill these days)! if the moonlight would smell this would be exactly what you are especting from a full moon summer night. it's light, silky, milky, sparkly, transparent, sweet at first starting with coolness, then after a while turns together with a warm trail of the basenotes without loosing the sweetness of the milky fruity-flowery topnotes. the scent is quite exotic 'cause of the coconut milk I guess, but otherwise it's rich and elegant without beeing voluptous at all.

you will be able to stay in the background wearing this 'cause it's not overpowering at all.

only point disapponting: beeing an edp it does not long lasting enough for my taste; at least it does not on my skin :(

Magical Moon is a wonderful addition to Hanae Mori's fragrance line. I agree with the other positive reviews here: this is a complex, rich fragrance that reeks of sophistication and mystery. A must try if you like florientals. Stunning bottle.

Magical Moon's eye catching cobalt blue bottle grabbed my attention and pulled me aside during a quick jaunt through Macy's fragrance dept., demanding a spot on my wrist. Of course, I complied! Guess what, this edp IS magical! Bright at first, with a multitude of fruit and flowery notes dancing off my wrist. After about 20-30 minutes it began to settle into it's dreamy cedar/sandalwood base ~ still sweet with crystal sugared fruits lingering. It ends up almost amber-ish on my skin. Perfect for an evening of romantic night sky gazing.

Beautiful, Lush, almost tropical, but the incense and patchouli keep it from being a tropical. The coconut milk gives the fruit blend a complexity and richness that surprised me. The warm pastry-like drydown had a delicate note that reminded me of orange Flower water. This is wonderful stuff.

This is a fabulously rich olfactory experience and a must-try for incense lovers. I enjoy Flower Oriental but Magical Moon is a much more sophisticated, well-rounded take on the kyara theme. The fruit and flowers are not at all gourmand, they are laid on quite delicately, and are dominant only for the first 20 minutes, until the kyara comes through. I believe this is probably one of the new headspace agarwoods the Japanese have been coming up with, and it's very true to the original, better than Kenzo's, which is also quite good, and on par with Shiseido's. The osmanthus is sweet but not at all cloying, and the patchouli is there but quite subtle. Not at all a linear scent, this one plays with you all day. One of the finest perfumes I've ever smelled, in all its versions (I bought the EdP and the parfum).
