This is a high quality, lovingly crafted artisan blend. Lovender harnesses the delicate spirit of lavender, but it's expressed in a way I've never before experienced in all my years of perfume obsession! Ayala has taken lavender's true heart and captured it to share with the world, while softening its sometimes harsher, soporific tones.
The top notes of lavender and lemon compliment eachother beautifully, without ever becoming sharp, bright, or soapy. This is due to the creamy, perfectly balanced hint of vanilla and smooth sandalwood. This is not a run-of-the-mill high-pitched lavender and plastic candle vanilla blend; Lovender has a fresh herbal purity that is lifelike and stunning.
I've never smelled anything like this, the only thing that even remotely compares is the scent of blooming lavender buds wafting on a gentle, humid summer breeze. This perfume is fantastic, I only wish it was more concentrated so I could get more mileage from my sample! I also wish it was more affordable.
    A simple pleasure.

Definitely lavender. I grow my own lavender and this smells exactly like the herbal, slightly minty with a hint of sage that lavender is right from the stem's sap. I love lavender, therefore I love this. Perfect in every way.

Lovender is as true as true can be to the actual flower. Breathtaking, clean, not soapy (the downfall of many lavendar fragrances). Neither harsh nor bitter, but "zoom!" aromatic like pinching blossoms off the plant and crushing them between your fingers and breathing the rush of herbal freshness. This is real lavender, a real natural ingredient, so it isn't long before it succumbs to the vanilla and sandalwood base, but the drydown is exquisite. Sweet, herbal, diffusive, vanillic. Absolutely delicious. FBW and I will buy some. Relaxing, meditative, mesmerizing, soporific as the ultraviolet flower itself. Hallelujah, I found a lavender perfume.

I have with me the last of my Jicky, a fresh sprig of lavender, and Lovender. Lovender is reminiscent of Jicky entering phase two. Having each on different wrists, plus the fresh lavender, I can say the flower itself is brighter and more astringent than these fragrances, as you'd expect. I never before picked up on Jicky's incense note until I just compared it with Lovender. I may be missing some element of Lovender, since I can never smell orris. Jicky EDT lasts and lasts on me (not true for others, I know) and it's affordable, so I'll replenish my supply, but I recommend Lovender to those who find the civet and leather in Jicky off-putting.
