Reviews of Virgo| purplebird7 United StatesShow all reviews | This is unusual, captivating, and addictive. It is airy, dry, citrusy, and extremely woody. It grows sweeter and deeper with wearing. I see this as a great unisex fragrance. The closest impression to something that you may already have smelled is Annick Goutal Eau D'Hadrien, with its wonderful lemon + cypress notes. (Note to Americans: this is a challenge to put away your "Lemon Pledge" associations.) Virgo focuses on the woodiness instead of the citrus, and it eventually incorporates sweetness, whereas Eau D'Hadrien is a mouth-watering, drinkable, tart lemon. The beauty lies in the all-natural ingredients. What you smell are the uplifting scents of complex, natural substances that have pleased mankind for millenia. I own this. I highly recommend it. Word of caution: the entire line of zodiac fragrances has been discontinued, but they are still available anytime upon request by special order. 6th August, 2007. |
