Mikeperez23 has written accurately about Tobacco Vanille! When I first sniffed this perfume, my nose was highly impressed by the authentic tobacco notes. Tobacco marries well with vanilla too, so this combo is an easy winner. I must add though, that in preparing to 'share' some of this frag, about 2ml spilled onto my countertop. Because of this mishap, I got a clear cut, no holds barred whiff of this stuff and was overwhelmed by the smell of cloves! Now, when I sniff TV I can only detect cloves...For a boozy tobacco vanilla frag I would insist upon trying Guerlain's Spirituese Double Vanille ~ IMO it surpasses Tom Ford's version, just a bit!

This was one of the first of Tom Ford Private Blends that I instantly loved.

It is sweet, spicy and comfortable and yet still manages to be formal and luxurious. What I love most about this scent, is the olfactory association I have with this scent: pipe tobacco. The smell is not someone smoking a pipe (TV has no 'smoke' notes) rather the smell of the unlit pipe tobacco itself. It conjures up visions of a distinguished gentleman, masculinity and heritage. It is also just sweet enough to keep the tobacco accord from smelling too sour or harsh.

I must wear TV lightly applied (it lasts exceedingly long) and in cooler temperatures (somehow wearing this in the heat/humidity proved nausea inducing). In addition, the scent is extremely linear. Tobacco, then vanilla, and then spices (that remind me of gingerbread), a very quick whiff of dried prune and then a slight beeswax accord - and that's it.

Fans of Spiritueuse Double Vanille by Guerlain or Ambre Narguile by Hermes should try this one.

smooth and silky in the Tom Ford style this is a luxury fragrance that says close to the skin forever. Traces left at 24 hours. A beautiful blend of rich tobacco and highest quality vanilla compete on an equal basis. I like a fragrance that projects more to satisfy myself but if I came into intimate contact with this fragrance on another I would be joyous.

very expensive for what this is...and an interesting blend of pure powdery vanille and gentle tobacco overnotes.
this one does last but i am not sure that if you like Vanilla then Angel is your scent...as it is mine. however a certainly different style and fragrance. Resiliant and unusual. Not sure it warrants such a high price.

Sweet, but not with an untolerable cheap and childish vanilla sweetness. It's more like "adult candy", rich and boozy. The tobacco is not just tobacco leaves but has a smoky quality too, which also makes the scent a bit drier and less gourmandy. Like smoking cherry pipe tobacco or perhaps a sugared clove cigarette.
