It took me a few tries to warm up to this one. I'm really not crazy about the vanilla part but it's not obnoxious. This is a nice, safe, sweet, clean, feminine musky fragrance, and it is indeed tenacious! I wore it yesterday, and I smelled it today on my wrists after multiple hand washings and even after a shower, I swear. So odd about musk. Sometimes you can't smell it, and then you can't get rid of it. It gets into your system like garlic. This is a pretty one, and I never realized it until this morning but it's perfect for a cool rainy day. 10 September 2009

This may very well be my favorite fragrance - it's a beautiful, sensual, extremely wearable perfume. It starts with a lovely vanilla note and, after a few hours, settles into a warm musk with a slightly sweet, almost milky, tone. LTBL settles in close to your skin but has enough sillage that somebody standing close can still catch a whiff long after application. Everytime I wear this, which is pretty much daily, my husband always seems to find an excuse to sniff me. 07 July 2009

I am rather new to the Ava Luxe line. My sense that Ava Luxe as a house is rather non-fussy still holds with LTBL. It is a vanilla-amber-musk, with vanilla being the prominent note. However, when I compare LTBL to other vanilla fragrances (Lavanilla, Maison de Vanille), I must say that LTBL does not knock me over (in other words, asphyxiate me) with the vanilla. It is not a complicated fragrance, but it is warm and pleasant, and I think probably great for layering. I can see why it is a favorite. Now I am wondering if Ava Luxe has something like Coty Wild Musk :) 19 October 2008

This reminds me a tad of Stila's Creme Bouquet, but softer, and more well-rounded. The sweetness is clearly at the forefront of this scent but it is balanced by the milky and musky notes. Very pretty. 18 October 2008

Wore this for the first time today, and it is lovely: soft, warm, sexy vanilla with hints of amber on my skin. I'm not getting any of the musk other reviewers mentioned, but grownup, sensuous and not too sweet for such a vanilla dominated scent. Lasted eight hours on my scent quenching skin without broadcasting too much. Delicious! 09 September 2008

This sensual fragrance begins in a very sweet, vanilla-ish manner ~ seeming at first a bit timid and fleeting...but just give LTBL a little time to mature on your skin and you'll be amazed at her tenacity. I could still clearly smell that gorgeous musk nearly 24 hours after application! It is soft, close wearing and stays fresh too. Comforting. Truly a polite and beautiful fragrance. 10 August 2008

Love's True Bluish Light is a sensual, vivid amber-vanilla that gets compliments every time I wear it. It's one of those irresistible scents that makes you feel warm, and sexy, and soft. I love to spritz tit on my bedsheets. 22 July 2008

I went from 'mmm ho hum' to 'OMG - gotta get me some of this!'. I love this milky vanilla/musk/amber scent. It is now one of my faves in the Ava Luxe line and I have ordered 30ml EDP and most of the body line. I do like gourmand frags - but some with a heavy patchouli (Angel) element or sweet (Britney Spears) tend to seem too young. This one gives a really sexy pulse of musk that says 'come here - I want to talk to you' instead of 'Oh yeah nah, whatever so cool like yeah'. Understand the difference. That's LTBL 19 July 2007

I also adore the name but canīt remember it when asked. On me itīs a bit like TBS Amorito, some chocolade and a little musk and vanilla. Very yummy. I feel very vital smelling of LTBL. 30 June 2007

A gorgeous, sexy vanilla with just enough musk and amber to keep it entirely adult. I have this in the EDP, parfum and stardust body lotion, and it lasts wonderfully well. Also good for layering. 25 June 2007

I am loving this one, The vanilla in Love's True Bluish Light thankfully veers away from the sweetness of so many other scents and the whole thing settles into something sensuous and inexplicably green on me. I am not a big fan of the CSP line and yet, I find this one to be amazing! 18 June 2007

I don't know about cuddly, but it's definitely an approachable fragrance. Not so sweet as to be girly, and not quite an ice cream scent, it's still the heart and soul of vanilla with just enough amber and musk to make it sexy. But not too sexy. There's still alot of vanilla there. Still, a wonderful white scent. 27 May 2007

Love's True Bluish Light...it's a beautiful, sexy, soft amber/vanilla/milky (with a touch of musk) scent that's not too sweet and just surrounds you in a cuddly blanket of lovliness. Good for anytime, anywhere...long lasting as well! 28 April 2007
