Since becoming interested in scents, I have trained my nose to appreciate scents that I wouldn't normally have liked. Had I been a young girl without my fragrance knowledge I may have enjoyed this fragrance.

Ralph Rocks is most certainly aimed at a younger crowd. Typical of your fruity and sugary teen fragrances, this perfume certainly fits into that category. In my opinion, Ralph Lauren has played it too safe with this fragrance, emulating many celebrity scents in hope of cracking the teen market. I don't think this fragrance fits the description of a rock-chick. There is nothing rebellious or hardcore about it. It's more a cheap, tropical scent.

The initial spray is very citrusy, like a strong blast of lemon and orange. This fragrance is also rather linear, the notes don't seem to differ between the top and base notes. Lasting power is also very poor, which is a shame for this fragrance's price.

Ralph Rocks strikes me as a fragrance that you will only find the younger crowd wearing as it doesn't spell out sophistication or sexiness at all. I can only imagine this perfume being worn during the warmer months or at the beach, because this scent is not overly versatile. A better alternative if you like this scent would be Sunkissed Glow by Jennifer Lopez. It smells a lot more expensive but is only half the price.

This is a nice, fruity, tropical scent. When first sprayed it has a strong alcohol smell, but it dries down very nicely. I love the citrus with the woodsy base, beautiful combination. Apparently, after about an hour, this has a watermelon scent on me(or so I've been told). I get lots of compliments when I wear this. A great summer fragrance, I love it.

I rather admire the restraint of this fragrance. With its name, list of notes, and gaudy bottle, one might think it would be one of those over the top, overdone “Rockin’ Rio” type abominations. It isn’t over the top. After the very alcoholy blast of the opening, Ralph Rocks settles down to a gentle, semi-tropical fruity floral. Even though this is not my favorite category, I like very much the way this is done. Of the fruit, I mostly smell citrus – particularly orange – and passion fruit. The middle florals are reduced to a pleasant texture with a bit of green; I can’t separate out the individual notes, but it works well with the prominent citrus. The base is very well done. It is a bit tropically unique with its coconut milk lightness and it’s soft, discreet wood base… not too sweet, either. I think Ralph Rocks is a delightfully feminine, slightly equatorially unique fragrance that has a tempered sillage and acceptable longevity.

This is the second scent from the female Ralph line that I own and wear. Like Wild, this doesnt evolve at all on me, and it lasts about 2-3 hours. All I smell is an Orange Creamsicle. Projection is average, but again it does smell pleasant. Neutral rating based on poor longevity.

Sugar sweet fruits with some woods to back it up. I think it's well blended and better than similar fruity-sweets. Thanks to a nice base and the right balance. For me, it smells best-and most fresh- when spritzed on my shirt as well. Lasts that way too. Gets me compliments like "Mmmmm, you smell so good." or "What smells so good?" rather than, "What perfume are you wearing?" It has a fresh appeal which lightens things up and makes it wearable. When I asked my boyfriend what it made him think of, he said "sex." So I would recommend this as a casual, playful, subtly sexy scent.
