It is so light and transparent that becomes a trace of floral lotion odor very quickly. It has no point of interest. 04 August 2008

Ok, hang on, am I crazy? ALL I smell are old-fashioned violet pastille-sweets, the kind I used to suck in exams at school. I take it violet is a main note? Anyway, I found this overpoweringly like powdering your body with crushed violet pastilles, and don't get why that is sexy AT ALL. 18 June 2008

As a fragrance person, I am always on the hunt for must have scents. For me a scent is suppose to make the opposite sex go crazy, as well as personal enjoyment for the weasrer. I have bought a few for my wife that make me go crazy, and ever so often, one that she really enjoys wearing. Such is AP eau Emotionelle. I like this better than the regular AP as it is lighter and a bit more bearable especially after the initial application. Very aptly named for sure, this smells like seduction but in the most "I am not trying to seduce you but I am not innocent" way. Love it. 10 November 2007

I give it a thumbs up because it made my husband grab at me. I agree with the above , that it settles much more pleasantly that it might seem initially. It does fade though, which is a pity: I can't be bothered with OCD spritzing of myself throughout the day. 19 January 2007

What a pitty this is a limited edition! I am so glad for it, as I find Agent Provocateur a unique beautiful fraganse, but too strong for me. Eau Emotionelle is a lighter version, very wearable and quite longklasting on my skin, it lasts for about six-seven hours. I do hope AP reconsider this one, and let it be in the ordinary sortiment. If they don´t, I will miss it very much when I finished my bottle. 29 December 2006

While Emotionelle is billed as the sister scent to my old fav Agent Provocateur, it's not as similar as I expected. Like AP it takes a momeny to settle and at first smells almost unplesant. This only lasts a few seconds. While this is a lighter fragrance it still has a heavy powdery muskiness. The foral here is also strong but they are crisper. After time there is a distinct peppery tone. Beautiful fragrance, and it gets a tick all up however it is not long lasting. I find I can still detect AP the next day and as it fades the fragrances changes subtly. Emotionelle just fades. Really quickly. 09 November 2006
