A quite modern spicy (powdery)-wet accord of molecular ("starry" balsamic, wet, mild and piquant) spices, violet, ambroxan and patchouli with a tad of saltiness (as humid undertone providing visceral exotic sensuality). Overall the aroma turns around a balanced juxtaposition between "fluidy" wet-vibrant elements (cardamom, a tad of lavender, ginger) and warmer notes (sweet spices, woods, resins and ambroxan). Nothing brand new or groundbreaking but surely an appealing sultry juice for the younger urban crowds. Lot of cardamom (and may be ginger) combined with sweetly powdery (nutmeg) and salty-wet-fresh synthetic elements. Dry down is vaguely incensey (I'd say better dusty), musky-aromatic, still watery-salty and powerfully woody (more than vaguely pencil shavings in vibe) in a way conjuring me an ideal blend of scents as Le Beau Male, Gucci Pour Homme and something more properly woody (in a perfumed and sweetly seasoned way) a la Graphite Montana. The final effect is warm, virile, "intimate" but still freshly exotic, averagely sophisticated and fashionable. I appreciate the combination of well calibrated saltiness and perfumed-dusty woodiness Gucci's style. Intimately Backham Men is not my genre of creation but I can't deny it is a more than dignified contemporary take on synth musky spices.

A well designed combination of floral components, cardamom and bergamot on a citrusy background greets me in
the opening blast. Is is well balanced between the fresh and the restrainedly spicy sides, and the overly impression is that of a nice set of top notes.
The drydown sees a faint anise impression meet an very generic ambery chord. The base also sports a woodsy undertone, and a dismal patchouli. On the other hand, towards the end a nice vanilla is added that ends the whole on a somewhat more positive note.
I get moderate sillage, very good projection and six hours of longevity on my skin.
A lovely first half that is well done and a touch original. Otherwise this spring scent is a bit less exciting. Overall 3/5.
I like this fragrance.
I find that I really enjoy wearing it.
I have to agree with other reviewers that it doesn't last and needs to be liberally applied to get any staying power~but I still like it :-)
Initially smells like fragrant beef stock. After 15 minutes settles into the usual Beckham base of cheap musk which COTY must be ordering by the train load.

As regards to the quality itself, Intimately Beckham for Men is basically an Iso E galore, comprising an all-in-one accord of soft, aromatic woods (cedar, sandalwood), amber, white flowers, something plummy, citrus, anise, a subtle incense note, vanilla, with a salty/balsamic aftertaste. Quality aside, which I guess it's not the main concern for the average customers of this type of scents, it's a unisex, clean, inoffensive woody-ambery-floral scent, completely dull, but it does the job (especially for the cheap price).
