Opening with a burst of musky powder it settles down quickly to a nice garden rose. Miss Charming has minimal sillage but a nice skin scent for a couple of hours. It is a well done, light sweetish floral.

A light fruity-rose perfume with more rose than fruit, MISS CHARMING reminds me a bit of Annick Goutal QUEL AMOUR (which in addition to being fruitier also offers a big dose of rose geranium to back up the rose) and a bit less of Ineke BRIAR ROSE (which has a deep, wine-like fruitiness). The fruits in this composition, in contrast, are very low key.

According to the card accompanying my sample of MISS CHARMING, the primary notes are "rose marocaine, muscs, fruits des bois". As far as I know, lychee is not a "fruit des bois", and I also do not smell detectable strawberry here (as listed in the bn notes). Basically the fruits in this composition serve only to moderate the rose, adding a touch of sweetness and creating a perfume obviously geared toward a younger clientele.

MISS CHARMING does bloom quite a bit, producing a lovely bouquet of roses by the drydown, making this much more of a floral than a fruity perfume to my nose. I like MISS CHARMING, but not enough to acquire a bottle for myself, though it might make a good gift for someone else...

A big body rose with geranium and powder, it does not last as long on me as I had hoped.

Miss Charming is very pretty. It would be a nice fragrance for someone who wants to have some training wheels for roses, or who doesn't like stronger rose fragrances. It is a very powdery patchouli and fruit style rose that has a lovely soft and slightly woody drydown. At the opening, it smells very much like others in the popular family of amber/patchouli roses like Stella or Bond's Bryant Park. I think Miss Charming would be a nice more spicy step up for those who's favorite rose is Lancome's Mille et Une Rose. Miss Charming is indeed very nice, powdery, pretty, and easy to wear. For me, I'll stick with those rose-patchoulis with a little more oomph, or my favorite aldehyde, rose, sandalwood - Annick Goutal's Heure Exquise. (Everyone will think I'm crazy until they would have the opportunity to smell the extreme drydown of HE against the middle notes of Miss Charming...very much the same with soft, warm, powdery rose with a hint of woods.)

Miss Charming has minimal sillage and medium lasting power. It would be very appropriate in situations when a light fragrance is good, and the right guy with the right attitude could totally wear this. Conversely it would also make a nice special event or wedding fragrance for a gal who doesn't like to go overboard with her frags.

It is really young and charming with the misty rose and fruits. Very enjoyable but i prefer lady Vengeance which is strikingly bold and gorgeous.

A rose is a rose is a rose? Not in Miss Charming, which opens as a soapy, slightly sharp, mildly dusty rose. Once it settles down on the skin, the sharpness softens, though it stays soapy, like roses suspended in very thin and tenuous bubbles of dishwashing liquid. The strawberry is muted, not overly sweet, and gives the fragrance a bit of pucker, as does the lychee. I love the contrast among the soft powdery Moroccan rose, the juicy strawberry, and the sharp/sweet lychee. It works beautifully, and the three notes dance on my skin! Just lovely.
